"Of course he kidnapped Rhea! How could we have been so stupid with all those clues?" Clara huffed.

"Now's not the time to panic. Kronos will be here soon." Mira said.

"It's a perfect time to panic." said Joseph, but he was very calm.

"Shut up! All of you! And run!" Mira shouted.

They picked themselves up on their feet, swung open the door, and ran out of the room. The hall had so many doors to choose from, but which led to the gods?

"Too late, young ones." said a voice.

The walls seemed to go on forever, their feet slowed down until they were barely moving. "I.....can't....mooove!" Clara stammered.

Kronos stepped right in front of them, not bothered by the spell he was doing. "No hippocampus to save you now, eh?" he sneered. The King stepped closer and closer, totally taking his time.

"Baaaaaaccccckkkk offfffff!!!" Joseph demanded, but his changed voice made him sound like a whale.

Mira slowly stood up and tried to summon water. She moved so slowly Kronos didn't even have to react to dodge the waves.

"Well, I knew someone would try to stop me from my plans, but I didn't think you would manage to get Rhea on your team." Kronos added.

"Coooowwwwaaaarrrdddd!!" Clara shouted. She sounded like a sleepy cow.

"WHAT?" Kronos boomed. He dropped the spell only on their voices to let them speak.

Clara continued, "Some King you are! Leaving kids frozen still so they can't defend themselves against you! If you're SO strong, why are you leaving us immobile?"

"Quiet!"

"Coward!" Joseph joined in, helping Clara's efforts.

"Shut up!"

"Scaredy cat!" all three half bloods said. Kronos roared in rage and annoyance, then he dropped the spell. "Very well," he said, then raised his scythe.

Clara turned and ran towards the gods that were fighting the Dracaenae.

Joseph followed her, saying, "Good idea.."

Mira stood still. She took out her spear and looked Kronos in the eye. "Come at me bro!" she yelled, putting her arms up.

Kronos swung his scythe toward the girl's heart.

"NO!!!!!!!" Mira shouted, then she began to laugh. "You really thought I would let you do that. I jumped in the Styx in the Underworld when we went to see Hades!"

"Wha-" Kronos stammered.

"OK, so my friends don't know because I left them sleeping on my hippocampus when I did it. Charon didn't even find out either!" Mira said, then she danced in a little circle.

"My lord!" Joseph called to Zeus.

The King turned around. "What is it?"

He asked.

"Kronos found us!"

"WHAT?"

"We need help! He could be here soon!"

"Hmmm..Poseidon! Hestia! Demeter! Hera! Let us go handle our father." Zeus said.

The six gods and two demigods ran back to see Kronos trying to hit Mira, who was dodging around the room using the waves she conjured.

"Die you little bi-"

"Father!" Hestia called. She stepped forward. "I may not like war, but this has gone to far!"

"It's time you return to Tartarus and STAY THERE!" Demeter added.

Poseidon called Mira over, who hid with Clara and Joseph.

"Just try and kill me. I'll take down all seven of you!" Kronos laughed.

Clara pulled out her sword, Joseph got his daggers, Poseidon raised his trident, Zeus revealed his master bolt, Mira gripped her spear, and the goddesses stood ready. "Then let's try." said Hera.

"Very well!" said Kronos. He froze time again, breaking his morales further. "I don't care for my reputation." He said as he held up his scythe once more. "I've always hated my children, but now I will send you to the darkest pit where your remains will never come out!" He stalked toward them, but...

A knife.

"Uck-" he disappeared in the familiar monster's gold dust.

Rhea stood over him, a celestial bronze knife in her hand. "And I've always hated you, husband."
