Mira was facing the Minotaur, its angry eyes staring back at her. It roared and began to charge. Mira readies her spear, but Clara pushed her out of the way, then saved herself.

"Clara, I had that!" Mira yelled.

"Are you NUTS? Your spear can't stop the Minotaur! We have to work together." she replied.

"Fine."

Joseph went up to them. "I'll shoot fire at him while you, Mira, get Clara onto his back with water."

"Cool." the girls said.

"Raaaaaaaawwwwwwrrr!" the Minotaur made a noise loud enough to scare Ares.

"Crap." Mira muttered.

"Move move move!" said Clara.

They split up, Joseph taunting the beast, and Clara and Mira ran around to the rear.

"Hey you! You look cold!" Joseph shouted. He shot a fireball at the Minotaur's nose. It roared at the burn. "Oops, sorry. Wait, no I'm not!" He shot another one, this time at his chest. He pulled out his two daggers and threw them hard, one for each nostril.

The beast roared even louder, then got down, ready to charge. The anger in his eyes was so strong Joseph backed up, intimidated. If looks could kill...

"Clara, you get on now. He's bending over." Mira said.

Clara got into position. "Launch me." she ordered.

Mira concentrated, then summoned water from the air. She put it under Clara's feet and lifted it, taking Clara along. She jumped off, landing on the Minotaur.

"Nice!" Joseph yelled.

The Minotaur stood up as tall as a tree. He spun around countless times, trying to knock Clara off. Her eyes widened in fear. "Help!"

Joseph tossed Mira one end of long nylon rope. He held the other end. "We'll trip him, then kill him." he said.

Mira nodded.

They ran, synchronized, around the Minotaur's legs. The spinning he was doing made it go faster, and he fell, causing a rumble so large, the Big House shook. Clara got off, then rolled under the Minotaur, her sword sticking straight up. Mira and Joseph joined her with her spear and his daggers. The bull fell right on top of their weapons, its body vanishing into gold dust.

Mira jumped up high. "Yay! Like a boss!"

"Bosses." Clara muttered.

"Whatever."

The other campers peeked out from the bushes. Joseph was extremely annoyed that no one helped. They muttered in whispers about what happened.

"Let me through!" someone said.

The campers parted like a curtain, so smoothly, they seemed to be controlled.

Chiron stepped out. "Are you three alright?" he asked.

"Yes." they answered.

Clara stepped forward. "This was obviously planned. Someone dropped the Minotaur from the skies, knowing we don't have a barrier up there."

"I know." Chiron replied.

The campers whispered even louder, this time sounding afraid. "What will happen to us?" one said.

"Is war coming?"

"Will we die?"

"Should we send a quest?"

"Contact the gods?"

*sob sob*

"Silence!" said Chiron. Everyone stopped talking. "The answer is yes to all of those questions except 'will we die.' War might be coming again, so we need to send a quest to prevent it."

The campers nodded.

"Everyone, select someone from your cabin to send an Iris message to your parent. I want to make sure they all know." Chiron finished.

Everyone packed up and went to their cabins, Mira, Clara, and Joseph walking in silence. Finally, Joseph spoke. "Kronos all over again."

"Yep, maybe." said Mira.

"Gaia?" suggested Clara. "We don't exactly know what happened after Percabeth escaped from Tartarus."

"Correct. History hasn't been told yet." said Joseph.

They parted ways, going to their separate cabins in silence for the night.

There was a brief message to Rick Riordan there. Hurry up with that book! We're waiting!!!!
