Chapter 1: Lost my way

[JUNGKOOK'S POV]

I'm currently walking in the middle of nowhere while staring at the moon above. It's been weeks since I last suck blood--- it was only the time when snatchers are sneaking around. I feel so weak now freezing in my place.

I need to feed myself to live. If not human blood, I rob Guinea pigs in some enormous forests just to survive from starvation for so long.

And now, I miss my family. I miss my mom, my dad and my brother. Their images never failed to appear in my mind to reminisce the times we're still all together.

Boom.

I fell down the ground as I sensed something by my side. I didn't glance to look for it, I just laid their letting myself lie in the middle of the road instead.

With my head tilted, I moved my head to look up and honor the moon on how it looked so wonderful. I just wanted to lie and feel dumb all the time. I lost everything now, I cried all my tears, I bursted my madness off and suffered in a forlorn living. I thought it won't make sense at all if I kept vain, pain and loneliness in my heart.

I just knew it's dull to make a complacent life for others but it's way better than before.

"Hey douche!"

I was kicked by someone, but I ignored it.

"Still breathing?" Its feet moved my body to get a nicer view of my face. "Hey answer me,"  his tone was a bit pissed off because I'm not still looking at him.
"Are you fucking crazy? Are you planning to get yourself dead? You're brainless! Stand up now kid, you're wasting my time." He said pacing away. "I have no time to give off money if you're damn injured or what,"

The engine of the car started but my mind was still blank.

"Get out of the way now!" The guy screamed out.
"What the fu--"

After a few seconds, I found myself stepping on the car's front bumper. My hand pushed hardly against the windshield that automatically broke into pieces. I saw his hideous expression when I grabbed his neck. I pulled him towards me and fed on him.

I can feel his fright that was caused of my monstrosity that time.

Freshened up, I wiped my mouth and dropped his body down dead and walked straight the road.

The smell of blood was pleasant to my nose. My energy likely popped up better than before, it's good to feel that way.

I feel like I'm heated up these passing minutes while walking. It's like I want to kill every human that I see would pass by. I would laugh, laugh and laugh until I get tired again.

Why is it I feel like this right now? With months living as a vampire, it's very different. For me, it's very hard to handle.

I can't make this out without my family. Without mom who can comfort me, without dad who can pat my head okay and without brother who can hug me forever.

2 months after my parents died and my brother who's nowhere to be found, I was in a cruel condition and I was really completely out of myself. I stopped pursuing to finish school and I got drowned in alcohol. Drugs weren't my thing but I smoked. I crossed the line, and breathed without a bright future.

I'd never thought I'd end up like this, pale, dullness and bloodlust. It was all because of a stranger who fanged me and infected me so I became like this who can't walk under the sun. I'll never forgive that vampire. I will kill him for doing this to me but...

what's the purpose anyway?

This life doesn't value anymore.
Why would I waste time hunting that dumbass down, right? I have too much time even though I don't have anything to do with it. This time, everything I have is useless. Freaking useless.

My sight suddenly flickered, and it's like I was stunned for a second. I feel the normal cold heartbeats in me again. What had just occurred?

I feel cold. I feel the drops of water running down my face and into the edges of my hands. I raised my head up and noticed it was starting to rain. I don't know why I didn't  tremble because of coldness.

My clothes are drenched and the coldness touched my skin. I looked at my palms. Pasty as ever.

I looked around, and the place is empty. Really empty that makes me think I'm crowded in an empty space.

My body tumbled down the ground again and I closed my eyes.
