Chapter 33| Expectation

"Ya! Everyone! Get in now!"

We've been waiting for Jin to fetch us outside our hideout, and he just made it, getting a pickup car from nowhere. This is our first time riding a car while we can just use our feet.

"Let's go!"

I sluggishly slid inside beside Jin on  the front seat. Namjoon and Hoseok went behind us on the backseat while the maknae line was behind the car outside. Jin starts the engine, and rode the car leaving some hazes.

"Why don't you turn up the music?" I suggested.

His free hand reached the button of the player and clicked a random song. To our surprise, it played one of Kanye's songs. The ambiance changed into an active mood, driving us to bob our heads with full of energy.

It was fun during the trip which I thought I'd easily be fallen asleep. Though it's a hip hop song.

Not taking long, Jin had controlled the vehicle so well as we arrived at the woman's address. We fetched them and Jungkook offered her to stay at the back of the car with the others. We must arrive to the seaside before sunset, for her to witness it. She was actually the reason why Jin snatched a car for a while just to use as our transportation. We all talked over about our secret, and it needed to be kept from her. As you expected that Taehyung would say in shorter terms, you'd see how Jungkook also warded off their deeds with a hint of vampirism. What can you look forward to his words?

"I can just teleport you guys instead." Taehyung placed his hand to his chest.

Jungkook's face was a bit troubled, but he managed to remind him.
"No, humans don't do that."

"We're not humans."

My brother's face winced from what had Taehyung slapped him-- the truth.

"I know we're not, but I actually wanted to invite Ji-Eun."

The rest of them loosened up, seeming like awaiting the idea that he thinks of.

"I wanted her to join us since she hadn't been with us the past trip we had."

We just looked at him, hearing more of his explanation.

"Don't you think?"

He knew a lot about human custody as usual. We all understand him though, because he's already a man. But there's always a part of me that opposes him. I could never get rid of this unknown hunch I feel whenever she's around, not just that creepy goosebumps when she touches me, but the danger she holds.

Now, I will just go with the current flow and see what will happen each day. That's all I can do after what I caused everything.

"There! That was the one I'm telling you, Jin!" Thud knocks from the back made us notice Jimin.

I glanced out the window, and the cold winds coming from the sea tickled my skin.

"Where should I park the car?" Jin asked and turned the music off.

Namjoon pressed the power button as the car window went down.
"At the "sea-side". I think nearby the waters, Jin."

He nodded and afterwards pulled up the car nearby. The car thumped a bit when the people at the back unloaded the car.

"Shades on." Hoseok reminded.

I caught the shades hanging on mirror, and wore it with swaeg. I opened the car door and stepped out. The sunlight wasn't even there actually, because the weather is a bit windy. I just leaned on my back on the car and crossed my arms simmering the relaxation at the place.
