[JI-EUN]

"Argh! Let go of us!"
I kept on whinging while Joshua has been taking a hold of me.

He and the man have been dragging us out that old place, which I have figured out that they had chosen a green and deserted place. The old small apartment looks really void that anyone would no doubt forsake.

The wide grassy land's hue was soon fading to dark violet and the creepy trees were also swaying in uncanny ways, but a way worse than the last time I felt.

I looked at Jungkook's way, I can still hear his striving groans just to be able to walk with all his strength left. He was being held by the man and I can't deny that he wore a dreadful expression at the same time enduring all the tingling pains in his body.

I really pity him.

Fortunately, the man with a lot of piercings didn't notice the protection of his skin against the garlic-boiled handcuffs.

But after all, Dark Gang made the best out of this.

"Where are you gonna bring us?!" I again hollered while scrabbling in Joshua's grip.

"Will you just shut up? It's a bit of annoying."

The calmness and coolness of his approach had gone since he's really up to take this plan solemnly.

I looked around, still hoping to see anyone who can save us.

Hoshi and his underlings had assembled by the parked cars down the road. They're starting to load their guns with shining silver bullets and tuck some extra weapons somewhere in their suits. The first dark blue van was laden by the first batch of the goons and the second black van was as well packed of hoodlums who were staying alert watchfully.

Soon we reached the third car behind the black van, Joshua opened the car door of the backseat along with the buffy man.

They dumped us both inside incautiously and locked the door. I quickly veered at him beside me, and checked his leg.

"H-How's your wound?" I asked nervously.

He heaved, and he pulled down the handkerchief down. My eyes likely goggled as the bullet from his fresh wound slowly fell on his palm. His legs were stammering so hard, and his face also cringed in its stinging pain and mumbled,
"Getting better."

Even I'm not in the right time to be amazed, I just can't stop it coming like that. He's a vampire after all, who heals himself after recovering a few minutes.

I hugged him tight and caressed his cheek. Jungkook's lips formed a simple smile but treasuring that moment only got ruined once the car door in the front seat slammed shut.

"Let's go."

Joshua demanded, and the driver who's been sitting in his place peacefully started the engine.

As the vans drove forwards, the car also followed. Without getting satisfied, I caught Joshua's eyes on the rear view mirror.

"Where are you gonna bring us, Joshua?!" I even emphasized every word to him.

I knew it was really new to him; I've mentioned his name for the very first time. That'd really make him response in huge curiosity.

His fiery eyes flickered with flames. I had sudden goose bumps.

"Right at the arena." He spoke. "Why?"

Arena?
Tsk. They really prove us their illicit pursuit. They would use and use us to fight or rather kill inside that screwed arena without anyone looking out for it, then maybe in one snap we might even see ourselves being killed. Death is legitimate. This isn't right!
