[JI-EUN]

After dismissing the kids at the small school, I stopped by in a mini store to buy them snacks. Meandering inside, I caught a handful crackers in each shelf and also grabbed three bottles of large drinks. I slid into the counter and paid.

The evening was creepy and odd. This wasn't the same with the nights I had these passing days. It looks like there's something unusual that'll happen anytime soon.

Beyond these dubious doubts, I just called a cab, and rode towards their place. I pressed the power button and the car window pulled down.

The crisps of the wind blowing my face was cold and somewhat a bit addled. It's just around 8 ㏘ though the breezes are chilling.

Acknowledging the same address, I stepped out the cab two meters away. I watched the cab drifted away and I traipsed towards the police line and hunched down to pass underneath it. The house was silent and dark. It seems like they aren't around inside, but I preceded on walking up to the doorstep.

I knocked on the door, but no one answered. The excitement I had slowly disappeared as I knocked again.

I still got no response.

"Guys?" I called. "This is me, Ji-Eun."

I was like talking to a door.
Why is it this evening is really different?

I twisted the knob, testing if it was locked.

Creak!
But no. The door opened.
I can't see anything inside, because it's all dark. My heart started beating fast.

"Anybody home?" I whimpered nervously.

A clink of a glass made my shoulders jump a bit in tense.
I lifted my left arm and fumbled the wall where the switch was placed.

Click!

The place brightened, but I was unexpectedly smashed against the wall causing me to drop the brown bag.

I uttered in pain, but my eyes goggled when I saw who was the person trapping me in between its arms.

"W...What are you doing?" I stuttered, looking at his rabid eyes which gives me irate gazes.

His breath smelled whiskey, and he's puffing for air heavily.
"Why?"

I can't believe what Yoongi is doing right now. Where are the others? Why is he alone? Why is he drunk? Why is he doing this to me? What's wrong?

"What's the matter?" I mumbled terrifyingly. He's not the Yoongi that I knew. He's just blitzed! "Come on, let go of me."

He licked his lips while looking away, but we still remained in that position. His eyes were full of sincerity and he's completely not himself.

"How can I? You made me like this."

I gasped. The way he stated those words, it was all unfeigned. I don't have an idea what's really going on with him.

"What are you saying?" I was left in confusion but at the same time anxious.

"How do you call this?" He trailed off. "Senseless, lame thing called love?"

I gaped at him.
My heart was restless, and I'm running out of words. Does he mean...

"I..."

I haven't driven a word either! What is this that keeps me openmouthed? I'm so overwhelmed!
My sight averted on the floor.

But he mumbled.

"I fell for you."
I flinched away, and covered my mouth. I never thought he'd feel something like this! He was just my inspiration before...
"And unfortunately, you didn't."
