Chapter 54| Begin

The spark came from Mingyu's gun.

It was the second that Ji-Eun felt like deaf and mute. Namjoon's body landed and there was just like a wide pressure as he was pressed against the ground. It caused a quick quake that shook the surface of the land.

Everyone got interrupted but her sight was only fixed at Namjoon.

"NAMJOON!!!"

Tears flowed down her cheek continually, while hearing Jin's howling voice as he ran for him.

Namjoon's feet turned into ashes until his whole body finally vanished with honor. Ji-Eun felt like the whole world betrayed her. She doesn't absorb what's reality and what's illusion.

Jungkook's sight averted at his way. The slow beats of his heart caused him to end up knocked by his opponent.

"Namjoon hyung!" The extreme dread on his face filled in, as he tried to stand. Attempts were unleashed as he ended up pinned onto the ground, weak and hassle by his opponent's domination. He wasn't in the right sane to move as Namjoon finally dropped out of sight.

Endless tears came off her eyes afterwards Jin flew over Mingyu to rip his head off his body. The blood scattered on the ground messily. After all the happenings she saw, Ji-Eun was as well freezing, not knowing the presence of her heart anymore.

Mingyu's head separated his body, and it afterwards signalled Jeonghan to pull his pistol and clung the trigger.

For once, Jin disappeared and emerged behind him.

"He died.."

His pointy fangs divulged and his red eyes blinked open. His roaring growl in lamentation signalled all vampires to rage up.

Digging the poison in his neck, Jeonghan's skin turned violet and blue veins glowed on his skin. Jeonghan's eyes flickered white and he froze to death in Jin's poisonous fangs.

Bang!

"No..." she murmured.

Another lambent silver bullet crumped off the gun from behind. Jin's gaze went at Ji-eun's way and that was the unforgettable moment on how he looked at her with those twinkling sad eyes before he burned into dusts.

Jungkook's body joggled, and he started losing the beats of his heart. He proceeded fighting even though he received a slash from his opponent's knife.

"JIN! NO!

SEOK JIN!"

From afar, Hoseok was running. Civilians blocked his way but he barged them all the way just to pass the way. Pearls of tears escaped his eyes and it breaks Ji-Eun's heart again and again.

It was the hardest thing to see a happy and active person to cry... for the very first time that I could witness... but... all I can do is watch.

"Jin!"

Hoseok scowled but he was already late. No one could ever define how he quivered in front of Jin's dust remains. Ji-Eun at once felt threatened in his power and she suddenly couldn't tell what he's feeling at the moment.

Bang!

One.
Hoseok juddered, receiving a shot from the unknown man in suit who had a jutting out nose. Another click will surely gank him dead but nothing changed, everyone got opponents and Ji-Eun was still stuck in her place.

Bang!

Two.
The man clumped backward as his gun disappeared in his hand. Hoseok was also nowhere to be found.
