[JUNGKOOK]
When I woke up around 16:00 p.m., I have nothing to do in the house so I decided to go to the school where Ji-Eun spends her time. She let the kids spend the remaining thirty minutes for playtime, so they gladly took it. She said I should play with them, so I did even though I literally don't know about how it works. My nickname was even derived to 'Kookie' and that pleased her so much. A child named Jung even wanted to ride on my back so I granted his wish, I gave him a piggy back ride. I feel just fine in there. But it's a good thing I escaped from my bloodlust to the children just like what I suddenly had when I was with Ji-Eun that particular sunset.
I just played with them, and let the time pass. After getting of their exhaustion, they finally rested and waited for their parents to fetch them. Currently, Ji-Eun locked the main door and acted to get the stuffs I was handling. I can see her
drained eyes but you aren't suppose to doubt about it because of her unfading jaded smiles."Give me that.."
I moved away when she tried clutching the brown bag in my arm, insisting to carry it myself.
I just shook my head, refusing. I started walking down the road back to the house. But I feel she takes glimpses on me thus, I looked at her shy eyes.
"What?"As I asked that, she sighed in burnout, stating a sentence.
"Did you enjoy lately with the kids in the small school?" I took some seconds to think and nod my head afterwards. "I really saw your true smile! That was an emotion of you that I'd always like to love."When she said that, I suddenly stared at her blushing face without having any idea.
Did I really smile?
A true smile? I would never have it again. Maybe she was having a phantasm that time. She's having illusions, that's not true."I never saw their delightful smiles until you came for them. They really like you, Jungkook!" She said flailing her hands in the air. "I'm so happy to see them happy,"
I just traipsed while she continued talking to me. I can't make someone smile, because all of these things are gonna be screwed up-- and them, ending up as my preys.
"I never thought you'd be that jolly, you're really funny!" Ji-Eun looked at my way, but I just listened to her words. "I know that was the real you. I didn't see the emotionless Jungkook there. He was full of gleefulness and positivity."
The ambiance suddenly changed. I was confused, recalling all the things I did lately. That apparition should vanish. I will never ever have a happy smile. I would never be happy again, except if my family happened to live again.
"Are you really silent?"
I scratched my head, nodding a bit. I don't usually talk. I must be one of those millennial citizens who use to speak only when needed. But a vampire isn't that garrulous, is it?
"But still.. Thank you for making our day!"
I stretched my lips sideward, and mumbled.
"Sure thing."We eventually arrived at her house, and surprisingly she dumped herself on the sofa, which is not the thing she usually does. Ji-Eun would rather wash the dishes, fix the messes, sweep the dusts on the floor and organize some mussed stuffs around.
I putted the bags aside and went to the kitchen. Pondering deeply, I suddenly heard her spoke.
"Did you eat already, Jungkook-ah?"I sat myself on the chair.
"Yes. Aren't you preparing your food?"Her voice appeared to be indolent as I shrug.
"I'm tired.. Later."If I just know how to cook.
It's weird my name sounds like I can cook, but actually it was the opposite thing.
