Lucy de Fiore's POV

"Here we are!" Natsu exclaimed as he took in a deep breath. I looked around my surroundings as I stood on this grassy platform.

Wow, this is spectacular...

There are trees, flowers and even some animals on this hill! I looked up ahead and witnessed an amazing view of the town.

It took my breath away.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Natsu grinned foolishly at me.

I nodded, "Yeah, but, you didn't have to run that fast!" I complained.

Natsu let out a small chuckle, "Sorry sorry, I just really wanted you to see this."

His comment made me smile, "Well, since this is such a sight to behold, the Great Me shall forgive you." I puffed up my chest as I said that.

Both of us then broke into a hearty laughter. "Man, Lucy you never fail to amuse me." He said with a genuine smile.

Natsu laid down on the grass, staring far off into the skies. "That's good to hear." I replied as I lay down beside him.

No words were exchanged, the only thing we could hear were the chirping birds as we admired the clouds.

What a peaceful moment...

"I used to come here a lot with her in the past..." Natsu said.

"Her?" I cocked my eyebrows as I turned to face him.

"Yep, Lisanna." He said as he gave me a sad smile.

Oh...

"In the past? What about now?" I asked curiously.

"Well it's quite obvious my father opposed me of having any contact with her. Guards are always around me, watching every move I take. That's why..." He sighed.

"Oh..." That was all I could say.

"Enough about me, what about you?" He turned his body with his attention completely on me.

"Me? What about me?" I asked.

"About you and the boy you love." He said.

Ah...

"What do you want to know?" I replied as memories with Sting started to flash through my mind.

"Hmmm... everything!" Natsu grinned.

My eyes widened as I look at him, "E-Everything?!"

He gave me a boyish smile and replied, "Yep, everything!"

I let out a defeated sigh and said, "I give up,"

Natsu did a small cheer before I continued, "So it all started when..."

I told Natsu about how my family and Sting's family were close, how he would come over to play in my house, and also about our midnight promise.

Natsu listened attentively and he took in every word I said, "...but suddenly one day, their whole family disappeared, no one could find them and poof! We lost contact for 10 years now." I reminisced as I gave a dry laugh.

"I see. You're still looking for him aren't you?" Natsu asked.

"Yeah, I am." I said sadly.

Not even knowing whether if he's still alive. I held onto the small tiny hope in me dearly. I might be deceiving myself but, I just want to see him again, I just want to see him living and smiling goofily just like before...
