Astrid's POV

I snuggle up into my blanket cocoon I made. I feel safe but I always feel safer in Hiccup's arms. I'll never admit it thou. I'm Astrid 'fearless' Hofferson and I'm not scared of anything. Well except spiders. I hate the creatures and I never told anyone. I notice a large black blur climbing up my bed board. I sit up and rub my eyes. Eight legs and spinning a trail of silk. I stay still as I climbs up peacefully. With a single jump im on the other side of the room. No way am I staying near that thing. I'm sleeping in the stables I'll deal with that thing later. I wrap my blanket around my shoulders and walk towards the stables. Snow starts to fall around me. Great. This night is getting better and better.

"What are you doing out here little lady. You'll catch your death of cold out here." I hear someone say behind me.

"You've already used that line." I say smiling.

"Ah so you remember that?"

"I remember that day very well. You were gone longer than you would have and Fishlegs even went looking for you and didn't come back." I say turning around.

I'm greeted by my boyfriend's emerald green eyes.

"So what are you doing out here?" He asks.

"You know how I said I hate spiders." I start quietly.

"Yeah."

"Well there was one in my room and I was going to sleep in the stables. So I didn't have sleep with that...thing." I say pointing towards my hut with an accusing finger.

"Why the stables? Why not come and bunk with me?" He asks.

"That's a very better idea."

"I know it's mine." He says chuckling.

I punch his arm gently. He shivers slightly from the cold. I pull my blanket off one of my shoulders.

"Here. Wouldn't be good if you got sick."

He wraps his arm around me and puts the other half of the blanket over his shoulders. We begin walking towards his hut.

"So why were you out here?" I ask.

"I have a very demanding dragon that wanted a night flight." He says.

I snuggle into his side. He kisses the top of my head gently. We walk into his hut.

"Have my bed. I'll sleep with my Useless Reptile." He points at toothless who's asleep on his stone slab.

"We can't you sleep with me? We're not going to do anything." I say as I unravel myself from his arms.

"Fine."

We begin to walk towards his bed when I'm grabbed from behind.

"I want something first." Hiccup says turning me around to face him.

"And what would that be?" I ask.

He kisses me and I wrap my arms around his neck. We break away and we lie down under the blankets.

"I love you." I say as I wrap my arms around him.

"I love you more."
