This was it the final battle. Drago was back with his army. Stronger? Not really. He had his dragons but they were weak and he couldn't control as well as he could with the alpha. But the mad man had a plan. One involving a certain blonde. That's what would push the boy over the edge. The girl. The dragon was too risky as Drago had seen his power. The girl however was strong but could be put in peril more easily. He had his plan set and he was going to be victorious this time.

The day had come that Drago attacked Berk once again. He just needed the girl. He sent his finest men after her while he dealt with the chief.

"I see we meet again dragon master." He laughed.

"And I intend to make this our last meeting." The auburn haired man growled.

The night fury began to glow a fiery blue once again. Drago flinched slightly. The dragon was dangerous but once he had the girl, he couldn't be stopped.

"HICCUP! HELP!"

Drago smirked. That's what he wanted. Her screaming would break the boy's heart.

"ASTRID!" The chief yelled.

She had obviously put up a good fight. Multiple bruises on each of the five men and one was heavily bleeding from a cut on his brow. Drago laughed.

"You see dragon master. I did have a plan. This girl, she is your weekness. I knew this and you would stop at nothing to save her, correct?"

Hiccup growled rivalling toothless'.

"What do you want?" He asked through gritted teeth.

"Berk. I want my revenge."

"Hiccup don't." Astrid yelled then had a rag stuffed in her mouth.

"I'll trade you. Let her go and take me as prisoner. Wouldn't that be better?"

Drago laughed. It sent shivers down Astrid's spine. Dropping the fearless act wasn't that bad. When your staring death in the eye keep it up, when it's a mad man and your boyfriend, go ahead.

"O great dragon master. I don't mean to take her prisoner. I intend to kill her."

A swipe of the bull hook he carried in his hand across her stomach. Then again on her chest. The bloodcurdling scream she released Hiccup's heart shattered.

"NO!" He sprung from Toothless and ran to her.

A swing from a metal leg and a couple punches latter, Hiccup cradled her in his arms.

"Astrid stay awake please." He gently pressed down on her wounds.

Pain reflected in her eyes as red liquid seeped from the gashes. Drago laughed then was pinned down. Toothless was glowing blue once again. His eyes slits and teeth bared. If you though Hiccup was protective of Astrid oh boy you don't want to mess with toothless or Stormfly. He snapped his teeth and then dug his claws into Drago.

"Astrid stay awake please. I'm begging you. Ahhh we need Gothi."

Toothless let out a roar and multiple dragons flew to his side. They kept drago pinned down. The night fury stood next to his friend.

"Alrighty I've gotta move you. Please stay with me. I can't lose you." He mumbled.

Hiccup lifted his beloved girlfriend bridal style. Then jumped into the saddle and the night fury took off towards Gothi's hut. Hiccup held Astrid close to his chest trying to staunch the blood from the gashes. Astrid was growing paler by the second. Hiccup was terrified for her life. Toothless flew as fast as he could manage. They arrived at the hut and Gothi was started as the large dragon landed on her balcony. Once she saw the blood dripping from the gaping wounds on Astrid she gasped.

"Please tell me you can help her?" Hiccup lifted the girl into the hut.

Gothi frowned and ignored hiccup as she begun to set out an arrange of potions and bandages. She pointed to a bed and hiccup placed Astrid onto the small bed. Gothi then pulled out a knife and cut away Astrid's shirt then quickly ushered out Hiccup. The 21 year old viking collapsed on the floor. He felt like he was going to lose her. Toothless nudged his frend and Hiccup threw his arms around him, breaking down in tears.

"What if she dies? I don't think i could live without her." He said to the dragon.

Toothless seamed to give him a look saying 'Astrid die? I doubt that.'

Hiccup wiped his tears away and laughed.

"Yeah your right bud. I doubt it too."

Hours went by, Drago had been dealt with (he was executed). Astrid was in a stable condition and Hiccup hadnt left her side since he was allowed back in.

"Come on Astrid. You have to wake up." He willed her gripping tightly to her hand.

She remained motionless. Hiccup lied his head next to her. He couldnt lie on her for fear of hurting her. The sleepless night was taking toll on him, his eyes began to droop. He wanted to there for Astrid when she woke back up. Just a little sleep couldn't hurt however. Hiccup let sleep consume him. Toothless looked up at his rider and huffed. The dragon moved from his spot to where hiccup was. Curling himself around the chair he fell asleep as well. The pair slept soundly Toothless letting out some impressive snores while hiccup didnt make a noise.

Astrid awoke slowly. She took in her surroundings. Gothi"s. She looked down at her torso and saw bandages. There were stained with blood. She groaned as she recalled the events that caused her to be like this. Her blood boiled as she thought about the bastard that landed her here. She calmed when she felt hair tickle her. Hiccup's head happened to be where the bandages ended causing his auburn hair to tickle her. She smiled softly at her man. Astrid began to run her hand through his hair. Toothless woke at this very moment and crooned softly. The blonde smiled at the dragon. Toothless used his tail to bat hiccup. Awakening the male.

"Toothless! What was that for?" He looked at Astrid.

"Oh thank Thor your awake." He gently hugged her being mindful of the wounds.

"What happened to Drago?" Astrid asked as she hugged him back.

"Dead. His crimes were to severe for prison."

"Good."
