"Daaaaaaaaddddddddddd!" Nuffink whines. 

I look up from trying to feed Stoick. He makes confusing noises and tries to reach for his spoon. 

"What's up bud?" I ask. 

"Everything. The kids at school are mean and I don't wanna go to school anymore." 

Stoick pulls his spoon into his mouth. Chubby hands waving happily at his older brother. Nuffink smiles and gives a small wave back. 

"Yeah, I know kids can be mean. You just gotta get through it. We're in it together. All for one and one for all. " 

Nuff laughs as someone thunders down our small hallway. 

"I was summoned." Zephyr pokes her head out of the hallway. 

"Zeph that anime came out when I was your age." 

She flaps her hand. "You watched Sailor Moon at my age. The original version." 

Stoick giggles and points happily at his eldest sister. She smiles and pulls a face at him. He squeals happily, bashing his spoon on his table making food fly everywhere. 

"Really?" 

Nuff laughs at the destruction his brother causes and ruffles his small fluff we call his hair. 

"You make dad's life so hard little buddy. I am grateful cause it is very funny." 

He squeals again and grabs for his brother happily. Zeph chuckles from the hallway still and I slump defeated in my chair. Have kids they said, they'll bring you nothing but the joy they said. 

Nuff lifts his brother from his seat and he smears mashed up food down his face, making him wince in disgust. This sets off Zephyr to laugh again. With this rate of noise someone is going to wake Nelly up. The four-year-old was hard enough to put to sleep and I'm guessing she'd only gotten about half an hour worth of sleep. 

"Alright, you lot. Calm down before you wake your sister up." 

"But my sister is awake," Nuff says. 

I sigh loudly. Okay maybe the sarcasm was my fault and I see why Dad got annoyed with me now. 

"You know what I mean. Ugh, when is it going to be four." I groan. 

"In three hours." Zeph checks the clock. 

"That's way too long. Can it be in five seconds?"

"That's not how time works dad." 

"Yeah, dad." Stoick giggles. 

"You guys are mean." 

"We love you dad." Both of them say. 

"Luw you." 

"Not feeling like you do."

So I have my end of year exams coming up so I'll be gone for about 3 weeks
