I smile following my daughter walk into her first day of school. Her auburn hair done in a single braid. Tilly takes her hand and leads her into the school.

"You look after her Till!" Ruffnut calls after her daughter.

"I will!" The young girl yells back.

Following them in the school, watching as some other angles watch over their children. Kids that suffer trauma get an angle. As both Astrid and I died it was only fair she would get one.

"Tilly, what if I can't make friends?" Nelly's small voice makes it way to me.

The blonde haired girl nudges her.

"You'll make friends trust me. I made three on my first day."

Nelly looks down at her feet.

"But I'm not brave like you." She admits quietly.

"Of course you are! I think you're even braver than me." Tilly points her index finger at her chest. "You has to grow up without your mummy and daddy. That's pretty awesome cause if I did that I'd cry alllll the time. Even thou Grandad says it's not right for a Jorgensen to cry."

My baby lets out a giggle. Her bluey-green eyes still sad.

"Still 'm scared."

The older girl takes her hand and squeezes tightly.

"If anyone picks on you. I'll beat 'em up. No one picks on my little sister."

"But I'm not your little sister."

"Who cares! You live with me imma be your big sister now."

I laugh at that. Looking around at the crowd of kids trying to make their way through the school I spot a small girl. Her long blonde almost white hair attracting some looks from boys that look around her age. They start to walk over and I can already imagine the situation playing out. Gently I push my daughter in her direction. She turns trying to see what pushed her forward. Tilly disappears into the crowd.

"Tilly! Uhhh!" Her green eyes are filled with fear.

"What's with the hair?"

"Yeah it looks weird."

Nelly storms over to the boys. She's definitely got her mother's courage. She folds her little arms and steps in front of the other girl.

"That's not very nice. Her hair is very pretty."

The girl behind her smiles. "Thank you."

"Now leave her alone you big meanies."

The boys walk away, sniggering slightly. Boys are dicks and I'm saying this as a male.

Time skip brought to you by me under the table writing cause this girl keeps trying to read this

"Stand up and t-pose or you're dad's a pussy!"

Most of the class of teenagers stand up and t-pose. Melody Frost, the same girl Nelly saved from that very boy looks at her friend in sympathy and stands up.
