"Daddy,"

My eyes open and I watch the small boy in the doorframe. Blonde hair messed up and hugging a small dragon toy to his chest.

"Daddy," He whines again.

The bed shifts and hiccup sits up, blocking my vision of my son.

"What's up Nuff?"

Nuffink starts to bawl. Loudly sobbing as Hiccup gets out of bed to lift him up.

"Hey buddy. Your okay, it's alright baby," He rocks him from side to side.

"My tummy hurts! Make it go away!" He sobs, clinging to his father. My heart cracks as he grows louder.

"Shh, come on it's okay," He rocks him side to side.

He keeps screaming and climb out of bed. Feeling his forehead with the back of my hand.

"We're in for a long night,"

When I wake in the morning Nuffink is still curled against his dad. Clinging tightly to his shirt and sweat dripping down his forehead.

I brush Hiccup's hair from his eyes. He stirs, half opening his eyes.

"Hey,"

He grumbles in reply. Trying to shift Nuff from off him to the bed. The little boy's eyes snap open and he starts to whine.

"Daddy. Don't leave me," He cries.

Hiccup let's out a deep sigh.

"I'm not leaving. I just need to go to the toilet. Stay with mummy,"

He starts screaming again.
