Description: hiccstrid babies

Word count: 587

I groan as I hear soft cries from the baby monitor. Throwing my arm to the left, I slap Hiccup.

"What?" He mumbles.

"Your turn." I grumble back.

Toothless from the end of the bed jumps off. He scatters down the hallway and I hear him sniffing from the baby monitor. Nelly's cries stop and she coos. She then starts clapping.

"Your dog just shut her up. Your turn." I kick out hoping to hit his leg.

"Fine." He grumbles and I hear him shuffling around for his prosthetic.

"Love you." I say.

"Really not, feeling it."

"Shut up I carried the kid for 9 months. You put her there as well."

He walks out and toothless scatters back in. Jumping into the bed where Hiccup was. Nelly yells loudly.

"Good boy toothless." I pat the dog's fluffy fur.

************
TWACK

I run towards the loud noise, my hands dripping with water and bubbles. The polished wooden floor becoming slippery that Hiccup or toothless will slip over. Nelly is giggling sitting in a washing basket.

"Oh my gods. Where is your father?" I smack my head.

"Up here. I'm still supervising." Hiccup waves from the top of the stairs.

"You my fabulous husband are a pain. Nelly is three she shouldn't be sliding down the stairs."

"Well I can't fit in the washing basket." He puts his hands on his hips.

"Send the dog down then. Not the reckless three year old." I huff at him.

"Put toothless in a washing basket? That's insane. Right Nelly?"

"Crazy Mummy." She giggles.

"I hope you slip in the water I spilt." I say rolling my eyes.

"I am wounded Astrid." He puts his hands over his chest.

"And I don't care." I walk back into the kitchen.

Fifteen minutes later as I sweep the floor, I hear a screech and a thump.

"Karma bitch!" I yell.

"I hate you." Hiccup groans.

***************
"Mummy can we return him?" Nelly looks down at her brother, her small nose wrinkled.

Hiccup snorts loudly. Pushing his face in the hospital bed, to covering his laughter.

"No Nelly we can't' sweetie." I smooth her auburn hair down.

Stoick lifts up his hands and waves them. Making small cooing noises.

"But I wanted a sister." She whines.

"I'm sorry but he doesn't come with a recite." I say.

Hiccup shakes with laughter. The bed shakes slightly.

"Aww. Can I have a sister?"

"I'm sorry but two is enough for me." I say.

Her head flops against my shoulder.

"I'll suppose he'll do. Can I dress him up like a girl?"

That sets hiccup off again. I kick him to try and stop him.

"Owww!" He rubs his head and Stoick whines again.

"Hiccup cause you love me dearly can you get me a chocolate?"

He studies me and Nelly crawls over to him.

"Please daddy. Can we get Maccas as well?" The little girl asks excitedly.

"Yeah, we can. Only on the way home."

"Go get me chocolate. Visiting hours are over in half an hour."

"Calm down wife." He stands up lifting Nelly with him.

Stoick whimpers and starts wiggling. He's a very quiet baby.

"He's hungry. Quick get me food, I'll feed him and you can feed me. Then get yourself home and feed her." I explain.

"Yes your highness." He bows mockingly. Nelly giggles.

I roll my eyes and they walk out. I look down at my youngest.

"Your father is an idiot." I sigh.

He makes a small coo.

"You agree? That's good."
