It was nice to know that Barry was going to try and get back to how his life used to be. Caitlin did miss him a lot and even if he doesn't have the same memories as her, she still felt happy that he was willing to make something out of them once again.

Caitlin had thought about many different ways she could jump start Barry's brain and possibly get him to remember, but she was afraid she might do more harm than good. He could completely forget everything about his life, rather than just a few years. She didn't want that at all, so she chose to just try the old fashioned way and try to get him to remember through stories and experiences, instead.

Although, Caitlin had been on plenty of dates with Barry before, it didn't stop her from being extremely nervous. Plus, this time was different. He wasn't in love with her and didn't think of her the way he used to. She was willing to accept that if he was going to try with their relationship. She had taken what Iris said into consideration and wanted to make Barry fall in love with her once again. If he did it once, she could make him do it again.

Caitlin walked into her home for the first time in a while and she didn't feel sad being there anymore. It was still a little upsetting to her, but she was going to try and move past it and create new memories with Barry instead of being sad about losing the past ones.

She had some last minute touch ups when she heard the front door creak open, and that familiar voice spoke from the entry way. "Caitlin? It's Barry!"

She smiled as she peered around the corner and saw him standing by the door, looking around at their place. He hadn't been there at all since he woke up. He was impressed that he managed to get a place this nice, especially with how expensive it looked.

"I know it's you," Caitlin laughed, grabbing her purse and the keys from the counter. "Ready?" She asked him and his eyes met hers, trailing down her body. He blinked a few times, taking in her appearance. She was breathtaking.

"I – uh – you look...wow." Barry stammered, feeling incredibly nervous and flustered. Caitlin's cheeks flushed and she looked down, smiling. He always managed to make her feel beautiful even with the simplest of words.

"Thank you." She smiled and gestured to the door.

"Oh! Right! The date!" Barry shook his head and walked out rather quickly and made his way to the sidewalk in front of Caitlin's – their – house. Barry looked back to see Caitlin locking the door behind her and he jogged back up the sidewalk and grabbed a hold of her hand, feeling that same shock he felt the other day.

"Does that happen all the time?" Barry asked, pointing to their joint hands. Caitlin smiled and looked up at him with such happiness.

"Not all the time, but quite often. You get used to it."

Barry was happy that Caitlin was happy, but there was one thing that he couldn't forget. No matter how much he tried to, he couldn't shake that he was going to propose to her.

He felt wrong if he were to do it now because, well, he has no recollection of their time together, he wouldn't just propose to her.

He also wasn't sure if he should tell her. He wasn't sure how she would react to that news. Maybe she doesn't want to see him anymore, maybe she breaks up with him before they even get the chance to be together at all.

As much as he wants to create new memories with her, there's no telling how this will even go.

"I wanted to thank you," Caitlin began. Barry looked down at her, his eyebrows knitted together in confusion. "You're going on a date with someone you don't even know." She chuckled.

Barry squeezed her hand for reassurance and smiled down at her, letting her know that it was his choice on doing this. "Isn't that what dates are for? To get to know someone?"
