The next couple days seemed to be going well. Barry was training with the help of Wally. Cisco was working on a new suit for Barry, Iris was helping out with the team as much as she could while Caitlin was trying to find her new routine now that Barry's memory is gone.

She didn't really know how she was going to handle it. She was thankful she didn't go all Killer Frost on everyone. As much as she wanted to when she first found out, she knew that she never wanted to experience that again. Especially not after what happened last time. It's horrible remembering every single terrible thing you've done. Some people never look at you the same way because to them, all they see is what you truly are; a monster.

"I'm ready." Barry sped into the cortex with a giant smile on his face. Iris looked over at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Ready for what exactly?" She asked him. He turned to her and pointed to the ground.

"This. I'm ready to be the Flash."

Caitlin looked over at him, unsure if he was really ready. Sure, he had muscle memory when it came to his abilities, but she wasn't sure if he was mentally prepared to be out in the field. He hasn't been out there yet.

"We're back, baby!" Cisco yelled as he clapped Barry on the shoulder. He was definitely the most excited one here while Caitlin and Iris looked at each other with the same look in their eyes.

"Are you sure you're ready? You haven't been on the field yet, how can we know that you're going to be safe and not injure yourself -"

"Hey," Barry took a step towards Caitlin and placed his hands on her shoulder, reassuring her, "It'll be alright. I'll have Wally with me, too. I need to try and get out there. If I don't, how else will I learn?"

She thought about it for a moment. She knew he was right, but she didn't want to lose him, not again.

"I-"

There was a sudden alarm going off in the cortex which made everyone become slightly panicked. Iris rushed to the desk with Caitlin to see what the commotion was.

"Bank robbery in progress. Call Joe."

"Why do bad guys always rob banks? What's the obsession with that?" Cisco asked, genuinely wanting to know. Caitlin laughed at her friend and turned her attention back at the flashing screen.

"We got this." Barry said, speeding off with Wally before anyone could say anything.

"He'll he okay. He always is." Iris tried comforting Caitlin because she could tell how worried she was.

"Until he isn't." Caitlin frowned. She was always worried whenever Barry went into the field. No matter how fast he was, he could never predict what was going to happen and that frightened her. It's even scarier now that he's going in there without the three years of training and experience. It'll be just like how it was in the start with him getting his ass handed to him.

Barry and Wally slid into the bank and looked around to see it vacant. Barry looked over at Wally who was also confused.

"Guys, no one is here. The bank is completely empty." Barry said into his comm.

"Check the perimeter, see if any hostages are being held anywhere besides the front lobby."

"On it." Barry said as he and Wally started to search every inch of the bank, looking for any sign of robbery. Everything was still in tact and there were no hostages either. Barry grew confused.
