Barry woke up, rubbing his eyes. He immediately jumped up from where he was and looked around, thankful that he was alive. He looked around the room and his heart stopped when he immediately recognized where he was.

Speed Force.

"Great." He mumbled to himself as he walked around his and Caitlin's place. He missed her already and it hasn't even been that long.

"Barry," a familiar voice was heard from behind him and he saw Caitlin. He immediately ran towards her and engulfed her in a hug. He was so happy to see her, that he forgot for a moment where he was. He immediately pulled away and Caitlin smiled at him.

"Last time I was here, you tried to kill me, so why disguise yourself as Caitlin?" He asked, hoping for some answers.

He wasn't quite sure why he was even in the speed force in the first place, or how he got here. He wanted answers, then he wanted out of here.

"What's the last thing you remember?" She asked him. He was a little angry that they had disguised them self as Caitlin, because he missed her the most.

"I was in a fight." Barry replied, looking over at Caitlin who was sitting on their couch. She nodded her head and waited for him to continue.

"I was hurt bad," Barry continued, "I was saying my last words because I honestly thought I was about to die." He admitted, looking over at the Speed Force's version of his Caitlin. He hated how they always disguised themselves as people in Barry's life, and he hated that they had to be in disguise as Caitlin. It just made him miss her more.

"You did die." Caitlin explained, still sitting on the couch. "Wally brought you back to S.T.A.R. Labs, but it was too late."

Barry stood there, not believing what she was saying. To everyone else he was dead, but he was really just stuck in the speed force? This is a cruel punishment.

"I'm dead?" Barry asked, not really wanting to hear the answer to that question. The only thing he was worried about at this moment was Caitlin. Sure, he misses everyone else, but he knew she wasn't going to handle him not being there very well. He closed his eyes, thinking that he may never get to see Caitlin again, which broke his heart.

"Well," she began, standing up from the couch. "In a way, yes."

"What do you mean?"

"When you died, you were immediately sucked into the speed force, but Caitlin was persistent that you didn't die and her and Cisco brought you back, or a different version of you back."

"A different version?"

"There's the version of you stuck here, and there's another version of yourself having no recollection of you becoming the Flash stuck back there. That version is just waking up from his coma."

Barry took in this information and became outraged. While he was stuck here, there was another version of himself that doesn't remember anything from the past three years. Everything he's done as the Flash is forgotten, all of the friendships he's made is forgotten, all of those memories that he's created are just gone. He doesn't know who Caitlin is. He doesn't know that she's the love of his life and he doesn't know that he was going to propose. He doesn't know anything about the world he's been living in for the past three years.

"I need to get back to Caitlin." Barry spat, getting closer to this version of Caitlin who just smiled at him. It was so hard to not just hug her, but he knew it wasn't her. No matter how much she looked like her, or sounded like her, he knew this wasn't his Caitlin.

"You're stuck here, Flash." Her voice was almost evil, it gave him the creeps to hear her voice like that. The only time he had ever heard her like that was when she was Killer Frost, but never just Caitlin.

"Why? Why me?" Barry yelled, growing frustrated.

Caitlin stood at the door with a maniacal smile on her face. "Figure it out, Barry."

She walked out of the house, closing the door behind her and Barry picked up a glass vase and threw it at the door after her.

He was stuck here in this hell while everyone he cares about is back there probably worrying about him.

Barry had no idea how everyone was handling it back home. One thing he knew for sure was he knew Caitlin wouldn't handle it very well. If he were to wake up and not know who she is, he knows that she would be heartbroken. If he were to wake up and Caitlin not remember him, he would also be heartbroken, so he knows that she wouldn't handle that very well.

Barry slid against the back of the door and his anger turned into sadness. He missed everyone and they have no idea what is going on. To them, he's just lost his memory, but he's actually just stuck in the speed force.

All he knew right now was that he had to get back there and fast.
