Caitlin placed the keys in the bowl on the kitchen counter, making a loud noise while doing so. Barry took a step into the house and looked around it, taking in the surroundings.

"Sorry, it's a bit messy but –" Caitlin was interrupted by her hair whooshing in front of her face. Within seconds the house was clean and Barry sat down on the couch facing her. His arm was draped along the back of the couch and his one leg was crossed on the other. He made himself right at home.

"Welcome home." Caitlin giggled, taking a seat beside Barry. She brought her feet up onto the couch and looked over at Barry who had the biggest smile on his face.

"I'm pretty lucky." Barry spoke, looking around the place, taking in every detail. He was amazed at how beautiful their home was. He always wanted to know how they could afford a place like this. CCPD doesn't pay that well.

"And why is that?"

Barry met Caitlin's eyes, still smiling. He couldn't believe that this was his life. He had an amazing woman, great friends, a good job, a fantastic home and much more. He couldn't wait for the new memories he was going to make in this home and most importantly, with Caitlin.

"I have you."

Caitlin felt her heart flutter. With Barry losing all memory of her it was like pressing the restart button on their relationship, but this time around it would be different. There wasn't the jealousy issue with Iris – at least she hoped – there was no pining after one another, but neither party admitting it. It was just a new storyline for them. Although, she was a little scared to see where this would take them, she was also excited to see what new memories they would create together.

Even though she was happy that Barry had come around and it kind of felt like old times, it wasn't exactly the same. She loves Barry with all of her being and Barry is just in the first stage. She had to stop herself from doing somethings just so he wouldn't freak out. She knew they would get back to that point eventually, but it was going to take some time. And time was all that she had.

Caitlin smiled at Barry and he slowly reached his hand over to hers. He looked at her and waited for her permission. Caitlin continued to smile and nodded her head, allowing their hands to touch. Barry felt that spark again that he had felt almost every time he and Caitlin touched. Even though she said that he would get used to it, he really wasn't sure if he would. It wasn't a bad thing, it was actually a nice side effect because it's only with Caitlin which would mean that they truly did love each other.

Caitlin looked down at their hands and eyed her watch to see what time it was. She jumped up from the couch and walked towards the kitchen. Barry sat there confused, thinking he had done something wrong for her to jump up so suddenly.

"I'm sorry if I was too forward." He apologized, mentally slapping himself in the head. He was a little confused because she had gave him the okay, but then jumped up. She opened the fridge and shook her head at him.

"Sorry, no, I just forgot to take the meat out for dinner!" She exclaimed, clearly stressed out about it. Barry stared at her and smiled. She got all worked up over something as small as forgetting to thaw meat. The more time he spends with her, the more he realizes why he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. She had so many adorable quirks that he loved.

He got up from the couch and walked over to the kitchen island. He leaned against it and watched as she ran around the kitchen frantically. He watched her every move in a trance. He couldn't get over how she could be so beautiful doing the simplest things.

"Do you need help at all?"

Caitlin stopped running around the kitchen and smacked her forehead. She removed her hand from her face and looked at him with a sweet look. "I forgot to get asparagus. Could –"
