Chapter 35: WHAT HE DESERVES

AN: guys, guilty talaga ako dito. May mga cringe worthy wrong grammar ako. Madalas ko mapagpalit ang they're at their tsaka your at you're. Pero I freakin' know the difference, I swear. Madalas lang talaga ako mag update ng sabog kasi madalas inaantok ako. Haha. Anyway, here's an update. Vote or comment to let me know what you think!

•Eya's POV•

"Indeed, too much love will kill you."

Seven words. Seven lethal words. Who would have thought words can actually kill?

I looked at him with tears running down from my eyes. I removed the infinity necklace that he gave me then handed it to him.

I looked at his eyes and I saw his world crashing down. I saw it slowly, then all at once.

Me: "i don't deserve you, Joao."

There's this piercing, intolerable pain in my chest.

He just nodded. He can't stop nodding as if it's the only thing he can do right now.

Me: "you deserve someone who will believe in you. Someone who won't doubt you. Someone who will fight for you. You deserve someone so much better than me."

Tuloy tuloy na yung pagpatak ng mga luha ko. I can't see clearly now. I can't even feel the pain. It's too much it's making me numb.

"Eya.."

Russell is suddenly behind me and good thing that he supported me because i'm too weak right now. My knees might fail to support me any moment.

Joao: "siya ba?"

I closed my eyes. No, you're the only one, Joao. You're the only one that I love.

Joao: "ANO EYA SIYA BA??!"

I can't stop crying. I just want this to be over now. Hindi ko na kaya.

"Shh. Be strong eya. Be strong." I heard Russell whispered.

Joao: "TANGINA NAMAN! SUMAGOT KA EYA! IYAK KA NG IYAK EH! ANO SIYA BA HA?? SIYA BA?!!!"

I nodded. Tumango ako kahit na gusto ko naman talagang gawin ay umiling. I nodded even though it's a lie.

Joao: "all this time.. akala ko it's me who cheated when in fact I didn't really cheat. But it's actually you. You're a liar, eya. You made me believe that you really love me. Ang tanga ko."

He slowly shook his head. His lips spread into an evil grin. I'm actually scared of him right now.

He looks like someone who can kill.

Joao: "I should have known it from the start." He pointed at Russell. "Tss. Magsama kayo. Keep the necklace, Eya. Choke yourself with it. I don't care. I just don't care anymore."

I might do that later. I might actually choke myself. It's easier than this torture.

Tumalikod na siya at naglakad palayo pero bago pa man siya makalayo ng tuluyan, humarap siya ulit saamin.
