Some leaves don't wither, they stay fresh—those leaves are called memories.

I was riding shotgun and Joao was driving. I connected my bluetooth to his car so we can listen to my playlist. Papunta kami ngayon sa Balesin hanger. We've been planning this getaway since forever and now, finally, we are going back to where almost everything started. There were so many good memories at Balesin and we can't not go back. We just have to.

"Nandun na ba silang lahat?" I asked not looking at him. I rummaged through my phone trying to find my favorite playlist. Ha! Found it!

He draped his wrist over the steering wheel before he answered. "Yup." Emphasizing the p. "How's cloud?" He asked.

Si Cloud iniwan na muna namin sa bahay. May carer naman siya. He's too little to be traveling. He's just a few months old. My mom really loves him. She's really weak now but whenever she's with Cloud, sometimes she looks like she's not sick at all. Though I terribly miss my son and I wish that I was with him. I just want my mom and Cloud to have more time together.

"Tulog na daw sabi ni Ethan." Inalis ko yung pagkakapatong ng paa ko sa dashboard ng sasakyan tapos umayos ng upo.

Kapag nakasakay ako sa sasakyan ni Ethan, he usually yell at me kapag pinapatong ko yung paa ko sa dashboard niya. He'd usually say "Get your feet off my dashboard." Not with Joao. He'd let me be comfortable. Kahit mahal na mahal niya 'tong sasakyan niya.

Pagkadating namin sa lounge, nakita ko si Ken, Sarah, Ellena at Kisses na naka-upo sa isang table drinking coffee. I waved at them tapos sabay-sabay naman silang nagwave sa akin.

Nakita ko naman sila Niel, Ford at Tristan sa kabilang table. Linapitan sila ni Joao tapos nag bro hug sila. I looked around and saw Russell talking to a guy. He's wearing a uniform. He must be our pilot. Tinignan ko yung balikat nung lalaki and saw four stripes on his shoulder. Yup, he's our captain. The other guy beside him must be his co-pilot. I recognized the three stripes on his shoulders. Okay, sorry. I used to have an obsession with the Aviation Industry.

"We need to work on our tan girls. We're so pale!" Sabi ni Sarah. She's wearing a maxi dress. Bagay talaga kay Sarah yung maxi dress because she's 5'7. I don't know. I just feel like mas bagay sa matatangkad yung maxi dress.

Inayos naman ni Ken yung tank top na suot niya then adjusted her glasses. "It's October, Sarah. As if there'd be enough sun for us to get a tan." Sabi ni Ken. Tapos natawa si Kisses at saka Ellena. Like me, they like seeing Ken roll her eyes. Kisses is wearing a skirt and a loose cropped top. Si Ellena naman naka maxi dress lang din pero, god, she can really make everything look sophisticated. She freakin' looked like a Victoria Secret model kahit naka messy bun lang siya at simple long dress. With her LV sunglasses.

"It's surf season!" I butted in. Na-excite kami pareho ni Ken. We promised Kisses and Ell na tuturuan namin sila magsurf. Sarah scoffed. "Hay nako, ell, kisses. It's not as easy as it looks. Pati ang sakit kaya sa katawan magsurf!" Pfft. She's always been a loser when it comes to surfing.
