The moment we walk into the community hall, we are greeted with a beautiful ball room. The chandelier that hangs from the ceiling seems to be made out of pure diamonds; giving the room this dazzling golden glow. The ball room was split in half one part of it filled with tables and the other half being the dance floor. A giant marble swirling staircase leads to the second floor. The smell of freshly made food hits me and my eyes eagerly search the room.

"Maggie, Joey and Aubrey!" My head turns to see my father walking briskly to us. He is dress to impress if I must say. With his all black tux while my brother just went with a white bottom down and black slacks. Let's just say Joey and I just are not the getting classy type.

I launch myself into my father's arms breathing in his similar scent. He chuckles and pulls me away to examine how I look. He looks me up and down before smiling.

"You look absolutely stunning! Joey watch your sister tonight." He says. My brother gives him a sault before his eyes start traveling around the room. Joey licks his lips with all the unmated females right in front of him.

"Oh no you don't young man, the table is this way." My mother grips Joey arm and pulls him in the direction of our table. My father pulls out my chair and my brother pulls out my mom's.

"And who says chivalry is dead?" She says.

"The only reason why I did this is because I didn't want dad to thump me." *Plunk.* "Ow, what was that for dad?" Joey says rubbing his head. I chuckle at his misfortune and he sticks his tongue out at me.

"If you guys want any food it is on the far wall." My dad says pointing in the direction. My brother and I smirk at each other before sprinting to the table.

"Best behavior!" I hear my mother faintly call.

Once we come back with our food my mother is frowning at us and my dad is trying to cover up his smile.

"Hey I wasn't the one that almost tipped over the waiter!" I say throwing the blame on my brother. My mother mouth gapes open and something tells me she didn't know that bit of information.

"Wow thanks for throwing me under the bus sis, we are supposed to be twins!"

Did I forget to add that little piece of information? Oops, will we are fraternal twins if that makes up for anything. Even though we have all the same facial features my brother is the wilder one.

"I swear you two act like a pair of toddlers." My mom says fanning herself. Joey and I grin at each other and just like that the topic is dropped. I dig into my food tuning out everything around me. About halfway through my meal I notice I don't have my phone.

"Hey mom can I have my phone?" She smiles at me and grabs it out of her side purse.

"I thought you never were going to ask." She tosses me my all white iPhone and I turn it on.

No new messages which aren't a surprise, I don't really associate myself with people outside of my family. Yes, as cliché as it sounds my twin brother is my best friend. Our connection was a lot deeper than most. I open up one of my favorite games on my iPhone My Pou. It is such a cute game and plus I love to feed him for that he can be really fat. Don't ask me why, I just do.

My father lightly taps my chair with his foot and I look to him. He motions his head to the front and I turn to see a man standing at the top of the grand staircase. His brown eyes boring down on to the crowd silencing them with his gaze. I didn't even realize everything was suddenly quiet. The man was coming off very powerful but I think that is our beta. He clears his throat to silence the last few whispers.
