It has been few days since the last time I’ve seen Kade. Honestly I am not upset at all! I even had a little a celebration by myself in my room with cookies. Now I sit all alone in the kitchen spinning in a stool. Joey is out with his new girl of the week. My mom and dad are out on a date night and I have no friends…. I mean whaaaaatttttt!?!?!?

So while most teenagers throw wild parties, I raid the cabinets and eat without cleaning up. Then I blame it all on Joey. I hear the doorbell ring and I stop my spinning and walk into the living room. Don’t you hate it when you tell somebody your coming and then they ring the doorbell franticly? Like didn’t you just hear me say I’m coming?!?!?! I yank the door open and to my surprise Kade stands on my doorstep.

“Get ready we are going a date.” He states walking into me house.

“Wait you can’t just barge in here and tell me what to do. Just to let you know I’m very bust at the moment.” Maybe I am not busy but it still does not mean he can come in here and order me around. I don’t care what his title reads.

“You don’t have anything to do all you have been doing is eating.” He says walking upstairs.

“Well you know what Kade, people and by people I mean me; find that to be classified as stalking.” He stops abruptly on the stairs and I run into his back.

“What did you just say?” He asks.

“I just called you a stalker…”

“No you said Kade, you didn’t call me Alpha.” I shrug my shoulders.

“Well I’m too hungry to fight with you right now, so if you can kindly leave my house for I can eat.” I motion down the stairs.

“I want to take you out on a date.”

“Well I guess we have a problem because I don’t want to go on a date with you.” I cross my arms. Kade opens his mouth but I cut him off. “Go ahead use your Alpha tone on me to make me go. Just know that I will loath every minute of it and complain the whole time.”

Kade closes his mouth and I raise my eyebrow awaiting his challenge. He lets out a breath and stares me down. See normally this is where we bow down because staring into the eyes of Alpha can be taken as a challenge. I am great person so I look straight into his eyes and narrow mine just a little. His jaw clenches and he bawls his fist. Looks like Mr.Big-Bad-Alpha isn’t going to attack.

“Aubrey, will you go out on date with me?” He asks tilting his head to the side making his green eyes large. My body goes to shock and I am sure that my jaw is halfway to hell right now.

“Holy cheese balls, did you just give ask me a question! Add to that you are using a puppy dog face which by the way you pull off very well. I don’t think my heart can handle this.” I clutch my hoddie in my hands and take stagger breaths.

“Calm down all I did was asked you question.” Kade grabs my arm and leads me upstairs on to my bed and sits me down softly.

“Wait so you are giving me a choice?”

“Well if you say no then we will have to eat the picnic in the house.” My eyes grow large.

“Did you just say PICNIC? I love picnics!!!” I jump up from my bed and grab a random pair of grey high-tops off of my shoe rack.

“I know you do.” I spin around.

“Again some people call that stalking.” Kade slowly stalks towards to me he leans down to my ear.

“Other people call it intense research on an individual.” I throw my head back in laughter and to my surprise so does Kade. Instantly I come to a stop as his full deep laughter fills the whole room. Add in his 50 watt smile with perfectly straight teeth.
