Pendelum.

Andal.

Quersan.

Jadesan.

Four villages inside the Kingdom of Hasbury. The Kingdom is run by one King and one Queen. Two children an older boy and a girl. Magic was banned at the birth of the first child. The Queen ordered this.

My mother is the opposite to the Queen. My mother wants me to take down my father. My twin is flirtatious. Madison's name is Tanner. Tanner has a black heart. Tanner is part courtesan, part assassin. And supposedly the very best kidnapper. Tanner and I travelled in the fleur. Fleur is a kind of transportation through the realms on Earth. There is more realms on Earth than the one I knew.

As I lay down on the bed I watch the shadows around me stay the same. This room was all windows. It was a room inside a room. The room I sat in was made of glass while the room on the outside had walls and more glass to concisely yet another room. The glass reflected the lights in my direction and blinded me. I noticed then that this room relied on the light it made. There was no window to the outside. There was no sign of the sun and no way of telling whether it was day or night.

I couldn't help but laugh to myself. No one stood in the second room. They all stood inside the third room with walls and what looks like bullet proof glass. Was I that life threatening? What did they think I was capable? And was I capable of that? And where had Tanner disappeared too?

I felt eyes piercing my skin. I turned to find that the third person was standing there. Avery was standing outside the door to my glass room. I sat up and turned to look at him. My legs dangled off the bed and he walked in. I was still in my dress but it had been a little tattered from the fleur. At least that's what I guessed.

"Hi."

"Hi." He was timid. So I returned the feeling.

"It's good to see that your okay. It was never touch and go but I was worried." He sounded strong but his expressions were weak.

"So I've been told. Avery right."

"Yes, your Angel correct."I nodded, "This isn't the best way for us to meet but-"

"I know. So assassin or courtesan?" I asked jokingly.

"Courtesan, you?" Of course. I could see the difference between us. I noticed every little trickle of light. Every shadow. Every movement of clothing and every breath drawn. I noticed it all, Avery however was unfazed.

"Assassin."

"I couldn't bear to kill anyone. Especially for money."

"I'm not flirtatious enough or slutty enough to be a courtesan."

"Slutty?" Different realms.

"A word from my world."

"Okay. Well in that case am I?"

"Don't know yet."

He could be. It's likely. Even though we are related he battered his eyelids and clicked his tongue towards me. As a twin I couldn't imagine growing up with him. We just seemed so different. Avery was quiet tall. His blonde hair was long but not long enough to be a wave of hair. But also not long enough to be a bowl. His hazel eyes matched mine. It was probably the only similarity I could pick between us.

As he sat beside me his muscles tensed and I felt a sense of fear running through his body. What did they think I was capable of? Why did so many people feel so afraid of me?

"Good to see your acquainted. Now I must take you Lady Ambrose away." He extended an arm which I raised myself to take before something stood between us.
