Hi my is Ramona Castellano but people call me mona or my friends call me riri, I'm 16 and I live in a hotel, it's actually really fun. My dad is a bar tender here and is the biggest flirt I have ever seen, my mum left when I was little and cleaned the bank account out leaving dad with me and no money so dad's boss Janey let us move into the big suites on top floor that are basically like apartments, most of the staff are like family especially Janey she taught me loads of things about life and have been like the a mother to me.
I have a normal life, I go to school, spend time with friends around benidorm and I also get to go behind the bars but sadly not allowed alcohol until I'm 18. My friends would love to live at the Solana, I think it's the pool that they like but they are shocked when I say that it don't get boring living here because at the Solana there's always some sort of drama going on especially when the Garvey's are here.
I wake up to the boiling sun heating the room up, I have a ice cold shower then I search for what to wear. I eventually go with the black skinnies and my Green Day shirt, now time to pick what shoes and what to do with my hair I hate this part I never know how I want my hair I really want to have my hair dip dyed but dad isn't too keen on the idea and he has made it clear that I can't have a stretcher. I pick my skulls converse and I keep my hair down then I find the fake ear stretcher I bought, hopefully dad won't flip out. I then grab my bag and phone then I head down to let dad know I'm going to meet up with friends.
"dad I'm going to the skatepark, see you later" I go to turn around and walk away,
"mona" I turn back around
"yeah?"
"come here, now" damnit he's noticed it I walk towards him and he walks down the the bottom bit of the bar by the pool "what's that?"
"dad it's-"
"I said you are not allowed it, you're not going anywhere today you're grounded" I take it out then I show him
"it's a fake one" his face drops
"well why didn't you say"
"you interrupted me" I put it back in "so can I go?"
"yes and sorry"
"it's ok" I give dad a hug and then I head off. I get to the skatepark and everyone is there already
"yo riri, you're late dude" mickey shouts
"sorry dad noticed the fake stretcher and flipped out" I finally got to them and gave them all the fist punch shake.
"he's cool now through?" roxy asked, roxy is my best friend her mum also left when she was 4 but she don't live in a hotel.
"yeah, we're getting a new bar tender this afternoon and he wants it to be the ditsy blonde but I'm hoping janey goes with someone else"
"dude your dad is such a ladies man, worse than mickey" jamie laughed
"yo dude I'm not a ladies man" mickey said, mickey is worse than my dad he is always flirting but mostly with me cause out of the group I'm the only girl who isn't taken but I seriously don't like him in that way.
"you are, constantly flirting with riri" ellie said
"I don't"
"yes you do mickey" after a good few hours I head back to the hotel I really wanna know who janey hired, I get back and then I go straight the the bar and I sit on the counter talking to dad then janey arrives, dad tried making out that she liked the blonde,
"no, I think you'll find it was you who liked the ditsy blonde" she said then smilied at me "so I hired lez, seeing as he is more experience"
"noo, you didn't hire that little bold man" dad moaned and then he arrived
