Chapter 30:The brightest star in the sky

Outer Space

Uni quickly flew left as something white shot by him. "Defeating me isn't an easy task." Uni said as a figure wearing a white cloak floated slowly towards him. "How did you even get here. I made it impossible for anyone but me to do so." Uni stared at the figure as he narrowed his eyes. As a smirk appeared on the creatures pale white face. "I know your intentions. They are not pure I shall not let you do as you please." Another Uni appeared behind him. Uni tried not to star at himself and kept his attention on the cloak figure. "This is my universe and I'll die before I let you destroy it." The Uni behind him charged at the figure and the Uni opened a portal. Instead of fighting back to figure fell through the portal. "He's gone." Uni sighed closing the portal.

"He will be back and he will find her." His other self said. "I know." Uni sighed. "Don't dread the future enjoy the present get back to her now." Uni ordered as his other self bowed and disappeared. "He will be back." Uni crossed his legs and closed his eyes.

Present
Gravity falls.

It's been a few months since Ruby left. Everyone tried to continue with life. Mabel and Dipper started living in gravity falls with the Grunkles. Dipper would stay in the lab with Ford all night, after school, and all day on the weekends. Mabel brought everyone smiles and help Toby recover. Finally, Sapphire or Seren as she now preferred. They did their best not to mention Ruby or of any of the Ciphers really. Trying to move past it.

One day in June all four kids were playing hide and seek in the woods. "Ready or not here I come!" Mabel called out. She managed to drag Dipper out of the lab with Seren's help. Seren hid behind a tree. She was a few inches taller, wears a jean jacket with a black shirt underneath. With blue skinny jeans. Her hair in a ponytail holding it up. Her ruby necklace no where to been seen. While Toby hid behind the tree where Mabel was counting.

He was same height messy black hair and a plain white shirt and black baggy pants. Dipper was dragging his feet still wearing the same clothes just like his sister. They all stopped to look up as a star besides the sun was shining brightly in the sky.

Future

Mystery Shack

Viola and Sebastian were telling their parents about the adventure. "I remember that." Ruby smiled at it. "What how did." Viola was cut of by the doorbell ringing. "Better go get it." Sebastian pushed his sister off the couch and moved to her seat. "Sure why not." Viola whined making her parents chuckle. When she turned the doorknob to reveal the last person she expected. "N-n-n-Nick." She stuttered as Sebastian appeared behind her. "Hey Viola." Nick chuckled awkward. They stood there for a few seconds. "Oh my goodness would you look at these." Kathrine appeared behind Nick taking flowers out of his hand. Nick turned red. "I think these are for you Viola Violets." Sebastian decided to use that common sense as Kathrine handed Viola that flowers making her blush a lot too. Nick and Viola were to embarrassed to talk to each other.

"This is to hard to watch." Kathrine whined as Sebastian kicked Viola out of the doorway. "Milady." Sebastian bowed as Kathrine walked inside. "Come on you two." Sebastian grabbed Viola and Nick's wrist and pulled them inside. "Who's this." Ruby teased Viola making her blush even more. "Mom and Dad meet Nick." Sebastian introduced with a sigh. "Come on Dipper." Ruby pulled her husband hand. "What I want to watch duck detective." Dipper whined. "We can watch it in our room." Ruby sighed pulling him up the stairs. "Sit." Sebastian ordered as he sat next to Kathrine. The other two sat next to each looking at the television. It was a very awkward night.

Present
In another dimension

Ruby held a box close to her chest. The same box Sapphire was trapped in so long ago. Now it held Bill Cipher. "Don't worry cousin I'll make you whole." She whispered as the box shock violently. Pulling her cloak over her head she continued to walk. Her life was like this for a long time. What might have been months in gravity falls felt like years to Ruby.

One day she saw Uni walked through a portal. Instead of jumping into his arms. She put the box down with a note on it.

Dear Uni,
In this box is Bill. Please make him whole again. Also don't bother looking for me. I'll come back when I'm ready. Tell Sapphire and Toby I love them both. Tell Dipper and Mabel I love too. Uni to be honest I knew you had a crush on me.

Uni immediately blushed after reading the note. But he honored her wishes and stopped looking for her. Ruby went by Mizu during those times. Since she was running from police people.

The day she returned to Gravity falls. Sapphire told her that the star shined brighter than the sun. A star only a few have seen. It can't be seen with telescopes or with normal eyes. Only they saw it as it shines upon them.
