Chapter 20:Family Tree

"You know Gravity falls is pretty." Chris said. "Yeah I guess last time you were here you destroyed the entire town." Dipper laughed awkwardly. "Sorry about that." Chris said. "How did Bill survive anyways I thought we erased him?" Dipper asked. "You didn't destroy his body that's what was in  important. He left half of himself inside of it." Chris explained.

"Technically I'm only 3/4 of Chris but you didn't erase Bill I was able to find the rest of me. So now I'm full." Chris said smiling. "That's very complicated." I said. "Hey I've been meaning to ask about that sword how does it work?" I asked. "Sword oh it splits a person I'm half splitting the persons personality,memories and other things." Chris explained. "Seems like a terrible fate." I shivered at the thought. "Sapphire and you were a one being then you split into two." Chris said. "Th-that's different." I said.

I opened the door as everyone walked inside I followed behind Kasai. "Ruby." Toby said hugging me. "What's up." I said. "Can you make breakfast?" Toby asked as Mabel appeared in the doorway. "Make breakfast!" Mabel yelled. "Where's Stan and Ford?" Dipper asked. "They left to go grocery shopping." Mabel said. "Make breakfast." Toby said as he walked next to Mabel. "Breakfast! Breakfast!" They chanted together. "Fine." I groaned walking into the kitchen. I heard everyone talking probably Dipper introducing them all to each other.

When I finished making pancakes Mabel and Toby came into the kitchen first. "Thanks Ruby." Mabel smiled grabbing hers. "Love you." Toby said taking his pancakes. "Did you make me some?" Dipper asked as I handed him the last two pancakes. I walked back into the living room where Mizu was sitting on the couch. Kasai and Chris joined the others in the kitchen.

"Hey." I said as Mizu didn't look up at me. "He's stupid." Mizu said. "Who is?" I asked. "Sebastian." Mizu said. "Because he wants to help us?" I asked. "No getting kidnapped then wanting to help someone else." Mizu said. "Our parents are probably worried sick about us and he wants to stay longer." Mizu explained. "What are you guys trying to do?" I asked.

"In my timeline time travel is still a new concept only my family and the Ciphers can do it." Mizu said. "I think you two should go back home." I said. "No Kasai said we should help so that's what we are going to do." Mizu said standing up.

"Since she's after you I think we have to hid you." Mizu said. "And I know just the place." Kasai said interrupting. "No absolutely not." Mizu said. "It's the only place that she's would never look." Kasai said. "Remember what happened last time?" Mizu asked.

"I know but it's the last place evil Sapphire would think to look." Kasai said as Mizu sighed in defeat. "Fine but I'm avoiding him at all cost." Mizu said. "Luckily I brought these." Kasai said handing her smoke bombs. Let's go." Mizu said. "Just me?" I asked. "No I'm coming too." Toby said. "Me too." Chris said. "Dipper and I will hold down the fort." Mabel said. "Ok then let's go." I said as Kasai messed with his watch opening a portal.

"Let's go." Kasai said as he jumped in. Dipper grabbed my hand. "I'll come and get you once we defeat Sapphire." Dipper promised. "I know you will." I smiled and gave him a kiss on the check then jumped into the portal.

I landed perfectly in my feet. "It looks just like Gravity falls." Toby said. "But it'd called reverse falls." Chris said. Reverse falls. "How is this a good hiding spot?" I asked. "Well it's a opposite dimension which are hard to get to." Mizu explained. "We have a friend who will keep you safe." Mizu said as we all followed her to the mystery shack.

"Gideon!" Kasai yelled as soon as we walked in. "Kasai!" A boy yelled running down the stairs he looked like Gideon besides his hair was down. "Gideon?" I asked. "Gideon this is Ruby." Mizu introduced. "Well it's nice to meet you." Gideon said shaking my hand. "Likewise." I said. "Do us a favor and watch her." Mizu said. "A crazy lady is after her." Kasai finished. "What else is new." Gideon said. "Can I stay her too?" Toby asked as Gideon nodded his head yes.

"Also could you give Dipper this." Mizu asked handing Gideon a letter. "I will." Gideon smiled. "Thanks I owe you one." Mizu said as Kasai opened another portal and they both jumped in. Chris stayed with Toby and I.

Sapphire's POV

After everyone jumped into the portal everything went black. I shot up breathing heavily. "What happened?" I asked looking around I was in Ruby's room. Everyone isn't here. "Ruby. Toby." Tears threaten my eyes but I was able to push them back. I got out of bed and walked down the hall. Everyone was gone even the villagers and kings men. Everything looked the same I stopped by a portrait of my father.

"I had a dream that dad came back."

I touched the portrait and I heard a clicking sound. "What." I said walking back as the portrait moved backwards then inwards. Revealing a room behind it. A light turned on to reveal everything in the room. I walked inside there was mostly weapons. But their was a book that caught my eye. It was the only thing in the room besides weapons. Plus it was big for a book.

The cover had the word Cipher in grave on it. "Seriously." I groaned as I opened the book. It looked like a diary.

April 29 2003

I'm so excited my wife is having our kid today. I can't even write properly I can't wait. We already decided on two names if it's a boy it's going to be called Larry but if it's a girl Stella. It's weird though every time I look for a heartbeat instead if two. My wife and the child I get three. Maybe our kid had two hearts that wouldn't make sense though.

In other news my brother summoned me yesterday. Apparently he has a plan he would like to talk about. Probably something about his wife she hasn't been well for a long time. She's has this rare disease we don't know how she got it.

Twins that's why there was three heart beats. They're both girls two I'm surprised I had any girls. I guess if my brother had a daughter I could too. But two of them. I decided I'm going to visit my brother but I don't know how to get out without Uni noticing. Then again he doesn't detect my power also I don't think he knows about me. But how to get out of this universe I think I might know the way.

The rest was ripped out only that page remained. "Wait who's his brother my uncle." I said closing the book. "That's a story for another day." A voice said as he walked next to me. "Uni I thought you left." I said. "Remember evil Sapphire and the sword?" He suddenly asked. "Of coarse I do." I said.

"She used it on my multiple times just a few moments ago." Uni said. "Why are you here than?" I asked. "That sword can't kill only divide I'm fifty percent of the original Uni. The part that stayed in this kingdom." Uni explained.

"I came for your help Evil Sapphire is after Ruby." Uni said. "Why do you need me?" I asked. "I don't know where she's at and if I don't get myself together this universe could fall apart." Uni said looking down. "I know where to start looking let's go to Gravity Falls." I said as Uni nodded his head yes.
