Chapter 5

He pulled away and looked me in the eyes.

"I haven't even known you long but I love you," He said.

"Shawn," I said.

"Yes I know you are with Mason but I love you," He said.

"Can we go home now?" I asked.

"Actually I was gonna see if we can go pick up Carter and Chris then take you to meet the rest of our friends," He said.

"Ok let's go," I said. He took my hand. The bad thing is I didn't pull away, I gripped it. He looked at me and smiled and I turned on some music.

We reached the houses and I saw my brother outside. I got out of the car and walked up to him.

"Hey I'm gonna go hang out with some friends. Is that ok?" I asked.

"Yea have fun," He said.

"Call if you need me to come home and help you," I said.

"Shit I may need you later tonight," He said.

"Y'all arguing again?" I asked.

"Like fucking always," He said.

"Ok," I said.

"Don't forget sometime next week we got to leave for Tennessee again because I got to make it to J's bachelor party then we got to go to the wedding," He said.

"I know," I said.

"Now go have fun," He said. I walked back to Shawn and them and got in the car. We drove until we pulled up to this big house. They knocked and a lady opened the door.

"Hey Mrs.Grier," They said.

"Hey boys come on in," She said.

"Hi I'm Skylar. I'm friends with them," I said.

"I'm Mrs.Grier so come on in," She said. I followed the guys to some place in the back.

"Hey everybody!" Shawn yelled.

"What's up!" They all yelled.

"Guys this is Skylar," Carter said.

"Hey do you know who we are?" Cameron asked.

"Of course! I love all of your vines," I said.

"Yes!" They all yelled. Shawn, Carter, and Chris sat down and I just stood there.

"You can sit down," Nash said.

"I don't have anywhere to sit," I said. Cam and Matt scooted away from each other and I sat in between them. I felt super nervous and excited at the same time.

"So tell us about yourself," Cole said.

"I'm 13 I'll be 14 in July. I moved here 4 days ago with one of my big bros and his people. I'm starting 9th grade. Um my favorite color is purple and yea that all I can think of," I said.

"Favorite pop singer?" Hayes asked.

"Bruno Mars," I said.

"Favorite pop band?" Nash asked.

"One Direction," I said.

"Favorite rock band?" Taylor asked.

"Avenged Sevenfold," I said.

"Favorite rapper?" Matt asked.

"Kendrick Lamar or Drake," I said.

"Favorite hip hop artist or R&B or something?" Carter asked.

"Big Sean," I said.

"Favorite artist from the 90's?" Shawn asked.

"Lil Romeo and Lil BowWow," I said.

"Ok favorite college football team?" Taylor asked.

"LSU Tigers," I said.

"Favorite NFL team?" Cam asked.

"New Orleans Saints and The 49ers," I said.

"Favorite baseball team?" Shawn asked.

"New York Yankees," I said. We spent the whole day getting to know each other. Matt was talking to me when my phone started ringing.

"Excuse me," I said walking into the other room.

"Hello?" I said.

"I need you home now before I end up hitting her," My bro said.

"Ok just go lock yourself in my room and I'll be there soon," I said and hung up. I walked to the other room and they all looked at me.

"You ok?" Matt asked.

"Yea I just need someone to run me home real quick," I said.

"Me and Carter can," Matt said.

"Ok," I said.

"Guys if I can come back I will but if I can't thanks for having me and I hope we can hang out again," I said.

"No problem," Nash said. We walked to the car and I texted my brother and told him I was on the way.

We pulled up to my house and I ran inside. I heard yelling from upstairs and the kids playing in Snoop's room. I ran upstairs and saw them in my room.

"You are a piece of shit! I fucking hate you!" Tonya yelled pushing my brother. I got in between them and pushed her away from him.

"First of all you are gonna stop putting your hands on my brother! Second you are gonna shut the fuck up and let me talk! My brother is none of the things you call him! If anything that's you! You don't deserve somebody like him! You keep treating him the way you do I promise your ass will be in a fucking hospital!" I yelled.

"Sky," She said looking hurt.

"Get you some clothes and your kid some clothes and go stay at a hotel until you got your facts straight," I said.

"Ok," She said.

"You can go hang with your friends again when she leaves," He said.

She left and I went outside to see Matt and Carter sitting in the car.

"I'll be back later," I said. I walked back to the car and got in. We drove back to Nash's house and walked inside. We ended up watching The Conjuring and I cuddled up with Matt. He's really cute and plus I already know Mason cheated again because my Best Friend Brittany told me that he did it right when he got there. Everyone fell asleep besides Me and Matt. He looked down and me and I looked at him. Gosh I feel like a whore. Carter kissed me, then Shawn, and now I'm about to kiss Matt. I leaned in and so did he and our lips met. He pulled away and took off him shirt and told me to go change into it. Once I did we laid down and went to sleep.
