Chapter 8

I woke up disappointed in myself for what I did. Yea I didn't loose my V-card but still. If my brothers found out about this they would be so pissed. I walked downstairs to Shawn's living room and saw him and his girlfriend making out on the couch. He saw me and started waving his hand telling me to go back upstairs. I quietly went upstairs and went to his room. I sat on his bed then called Chris.

"Hello?" He asked.

"Hey Chris its Skylar! Can you meet me at Shawn's window and promise to catch me?" I asked.

"Yea I'll be there in 5 seconds," He said. 5 seconds later Chris threw a rock at the window. I opened the window and jumped. Next thing I know I felt myself in Chris' arms.

"Where to princess?" He asked smirking at me.

"Your house Prince Charming," I said. He carried me all the way to his house. We walked inside and sat on the couch.

"What do you want to watch on Netflix?" He asked.

"I say we watch Haven!!! I love it!!!" I said.

"Ok whatever you want my Queen," He said. He grabbed a blanket and covered us up.  We sat on opposite sides of the couch just watching the show. I realized that the show was just like my life. I used to help my friends back home with there secret problems that also weren't really a secret. Matthew is like Duke and Duke is like Nathan. Its weird I know but I guess that's the way it is. I decided I wanted to call Matthew. Someone answered the phone and it wasn't Matt. It was a girl.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Hi um yes is Matt there?" I asked.

"Yes he's in the shower though. I was about to go join him. Do you need anything?" She asked.

"Just tell him his sister Skylar called," I said.

"Ok bye," She said and hung up. I cuddled up with Chris since Matt wants to go and have other girls over and in his shower. I fell asleep on Chris and he did to. A hour later we heard someone banging on the door.

"Shut the hell up! I'm coming!" Chris yelled. He opened the door and Matt walked in. I made no eye contact with him at all.

"Hey," He said.

"What?" I asked.

"Will you look at me please?" He asked.

"No," I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"Why? Did you really just ask that? How are you gonna cheat on someone you've only dated for 2 days?!?!?! If you don't want to be with me then say it!!!" I said. He didn't say anything. I got up and put on my shoes. I was about to walk out but Matt stopped me by grabbing my hand. I pulled away and ran to Carter's house. I didn't even knock, I just walked in. I sat on his couch as he was in the kitchen.

"What's wrong?" He asked walking towards me.

"Matt," I said.

"What about him?" He asked.

"After only two days he decided he wants to cheat." I said.

"He cheated on you?!?!?!" He said.

"Yep," I said.

"Wow," He said. Someone knocked.

"Go hide I'll talk to him," He said. I ran upstairs and hid in a spear room. I heard Matt asked Carter if I was here and Carter said no. Matt started getting upset.

"I fucked up man," Matt said.

"No shit Sherlock! You hurt a girl who didn't deserve to be hurt!" Carter said.

"Dude I just don't even know why I did it," Matt said.

"You'll be lucky if she gives you a second chance," Carter said.

"I know because of that guy Mason," Matt said.

"Well dude just go check some places," Carter said. Matt left and I walked downstairs. I started crying and almost fell to the floor but Carter caught me. He sat on the couch and put me in his lap.

"Its gonna be ok. Just breathe. Shh." He said.

"I just don't understand how you could do that to someone you have only been dating for 2 days," I said.

"I know baby," He said. He laid on the couch and I laid down on him. We ended up falling asleep.

           *Matt's POV*

I can't believe I was so stupid to do something like that. I just need to call Cameron. It rang 3 times and he answered.

"Hello?" He asked.

"Hey man can I come over? I need to talk to you," I asked.

"Yea man come on over," He said. I drove to his place and walked in. I sat on the couch with him and he turned off the Tv.

"What's up man?" He asked.

"I made a mistake and I don't know how to fix it," I said.

"What did you do?" He asked.

"I cheated on Skylar," I said.

"Dude you've only been dating her for 2 days! Why would you cheat on somebody that beautiful?!?!" He said.

"I don't know man. I just need help trying to fix it," I said.

"You know what they say man. Once a cheater always a cheater," He said.

"You know me better than that man," I said.

"Well man its late so how 'bout you go home and get some sleep then figure it out in the morning," He said. I nodded then went home. I was waiting for my phone to vibrate because Skylar always sent me a good night message but I didn't get it. It was so hard to fall asleep knowing she hates me. At 4:32 a.m. I finally fell asleep but not happy.
