Chapter 24

*1 week later*
Well I finally got to go home but now I'm packing getting ready for tour. Its so crazy to say that. Ive always wanted to be able to say it but never thought id actually get the chance to. This is going to be so much fun. I also invited my other cousin Alyssa and my two friends Zanaya and Jennifer. Its going to be so much fun! I get to hang with my guy and his friends and mine. This is so great!

I finished packing and Matthew helped me with my bags. They got 3 tour buses. Me, Matthew, Katrina, Hayes, Alyssa, Zanaya, Jennifer, and Jack Johnson were on one bus. Gilinsky, Sammy, Skate, Dillon, Taylor, and Kenny were on the second bus. Mahogany, Nash, Aaron, and Cam were on the third one. We were all ready to go. Once we all were in the bus we headed to New York. Since we decided to drive instead of fly it would take longer so we left a week and four days earlier. We decided to take the buses so we could have something besides paying for uber all the time. I know it seems stupid but oh well. Matthew was talking to Zanaya and Jennifer while I was talking to Hayes, Katrina, and Alyssa. I looked down at my phone and Sammy sent me a text.

Hey I want to be the one to introduce you to Skate so dont let anyone else. I'll wait until we stop for gas or something later.

To: Sammy✔

"Mattchew, Sammy said that he wants to be the one to introduce me to Skate so he said you can't," I said.

"Did you really just call me Mattchew?" He said laughing.

"Well I thought that would be an adorable nickname for you but fine," I said pouting.

"Awh no baby its cute! I love you for trying but it sounds like your sneezing while trying to say Matthew," He said kissing me.

"Fine I'll try something better," I said.

"I know something you can call me but you wouldnt be allowed to say it out in public," He said winking.

"Matthew!" I said hitting him.

"Ew!" Katrina and Alyssa said.

"Hahahahaha!!" Zanaya started dying of laughter.

"It's not funny Z! Dont laugh at him!" I said laughing.

"I cant help it! You know I laugh at dirty jokes like that!" She said.

"That was good bro," Hayes said high fiving Matt.

After 5 and a half hours we finally had to stop for gas. I got off the bus with Matthew holding my hand. We walked up to Sammy and Skate.

"Skate this is Skylar, Matthew's girl. Skylar this is Skate, my best friend." Sammy said.

"So you are the girl that's got little Matty whipped. I must say now I know why," Skate said with a smirk kissing my hand.

"I wouldn't say he's whipped but thank you. Sammy has told me a lot about you and I've listened to your music and its great. Im a huge fan," I said.

"Oh yea? What's your favorite song?" He asked.

"Ride Wit Me. The song you did with Johnny Johnson," I said.

"Johnny Johnson?" He asked.

"I honestly have no idea. I just like the sound of it. It sounded better in my head," I said laughing.

"Babe let's go get something to drink. I'm thirsty and hungry," Matt said.

"Alright stud muffin. It was great meeting you Nate," I said.

"Please just call me Skate," He said.

"Im Skylar. I get to call you whatever I want sugar plum," I said walking away with Matt. We walked into to gas station and got icees and a bunch of junk food. We paid and got back on the bus. Once everyone was back in the buses we were on the road again.

It was 11:51 and Hayes and Matthew were playing video games. I grabbed my pjs and changed into them. I walked towards the game area and walked up behind Matt. I hugged him from behind and kissed his cheek.

"Goodnight baby. I love you but I'm really tired," I said.

"I need an actual kiss cupcake," He said. He turned around and I kissed him.

"Every time I kiss you it feels like the first," He said.

"Awh you are so cute! Well goodnight I love you!" I said. I hugged Hayes and kissed his cheek.

"Night Hayes," I said.

"Night Sky," he said. I walked to my bunk bed and got in it. I covered up and slowly fell asleep.

*Nate's(Skate's) POV*
"Skylar is probably the only person that calls me Nate besides my mom," I said.

"Yea she does that. She gets her way with all of us," Sammy said.

"She calls me Tay,"

"She calls me JG,"

"She calls Johnson Johnny Johnson or JJ," Sammy said.

"We all love our nicknames. She's our nickname loser," Gilinsky said.

"She's awesome. Dillon I'll introduce you to her later," Taylor said.

"Aight that's cool," Dillon said.

"Who wants to play me in Madden?" I asked.

"I will," Kenny said.

"Aight bro let's go," I said. Me and Kenny went to the game area and turned on the Xbox. He picked the 49ers. I picked the Steelers.

Well I beat Kenny 89-43.

"Good game bro," Kenny said.

"Yea bro it was great," I said.

"Yea you made a epic comeback," he said.

"Aight guys im going to sleep. Im tired. Talk to you in the a.m. Now dont wake me up," I said. I walked to my bunk and took off my shirt and pants. I got in bed and closed the curtain. Gosh Skylar is so beautiful. I wish I was Matthew. That boy don't realize how fucking lucky he is. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off.
