Chapter 1

I woke up to the sound of my brother. We are on a plane moving to California. It's me, him, his girlfriend, her kid, his kid, and his friend. We are moving to California because well we just can't handle things at home anymore. Too many memories back in Tennessee we can't handle.

"Wake up Sky," He said. I opened my eyes and stretched like usual. I grabbed my phone and head phones and put them in my pocket. We got off the plane and walked and grabbed our bags. We already had a house waiting on us and my brother got his car sent here so its waiting for us. Sorry I didn't introduce myself. My name is Skylar Tate, I'm 13 years old, just moved to California, I'm going to live with the people I care about. That's all I can think of right now. Oh wait! I'll start high school in August! School just ended! I mean literally its finally May and the last day of school was today! My brother didn't want to move until I finished middle school. So yea I think that's it now!

We pulled up to our new house and I must say its huge! It looks like it has about 10 rooms! We walked inside and ran upstairs. I picked the last room on the right. Its huge! My brother came in my room.

"Ok so Me, Tonya, Hayden, and Hayden(Yes they are both named Hayden)are going to buy paint. We have the beds on the way and Snoop will help you figure out who's bed is who's. What kind of paint do you want for your room?" he asked

"Black and then neon colors I can splatter everywhere," I said.

"Ok we will be right back! By the way we have a pool in the back and one of the rooms has a hot tub," He said then left. I walked downstairs and waited for the furniture with Snoop. We are getting all of it today so its gonna be hard work. The mover guys got here and helped us with everything. My niece had a princess bed in her room and my future nephew has a cars bed in his room. My brother has a king size bed and the head board was black. My bed frame head hearts and peace signs all over it and I have a queen size mattress. Snoop has a metal bed frame and a king size bed. When my brother got home he painted everything black in my room then let my splatter the neon colors everywhere. I had to cover my bed and my dresser and everything like that with plastic that way paint wouldn't get everywhere. Once it dried I made my bed and my brother told me they were all going out and I would be home alone. I ran upstairs to my room and grabbed my bikini. It was purple with blue hearts on it. I ran outside and got in the pool. After a few seconds I heard someone yell.

"Is anyone here?" I heard. I jumped out of the pool and ran to the front of the house. I saw two of the hottest guys I've ever seen in my life.

"Um hi," I said feeling insecure since I didn't have a towel!

"Hey I'm Carter and this is Shawn!" The boy said.

"Hi I'm Skylar. Me and my family just moved here," I said staring at the ground.

"Why do you seem nervous?" Shawn asked.

"Um the last guy I talked to ended up telling me he loved me on the last day of school so I told him I wouldn't meet any guys that would mess it up." I said.

"Oh. Where did you come from?" Carter asked.

"Tennessee," I said.

"Oh! We hope to see you around! I live to the right and he lives to the left so you are kind of in the middle," Shawn said.

"Ok and yea I hope to see you guys around to," I said. They walked back home and I went back and continued swimming.

My brother just got home with Dinner. He bought chicken nuggets from Mc.Donald's. After I ate I decided to take another shower. My room had its own bathroom so I ran upstairs to my room.

I got out of the shower and put on my pjs. I got in bed and just sat there. I turned on my music and fell asleep. Maybe I'll get to see Shawn and Carter tomorrow!
