12. V A N N E S A

"Tell me does your head hurt? Are you feeling any signs of sickness?" The doctor said, scribbling down things in his notepad. "I just want to see Roni." I said. My voice was very hoarse, and cracky.

It was silent for a minute, his pen tapping against his board made me a little uneasy. After 6 minutes of him doing that i was ready to jump out of the bed. 

"What's going on, please tell me." He stopped what he was doing, and looked at me, sympathy and confusion apparent in his eyes. "Listen to me sweetheart, what do you remember?"

I thought for a minute, "I remember little things, being with my sister."

"Where?" "A car, we were driving somewhere." "Continue." "I don't remember."

"Okay, i'm going to call your sister, and she'll explain to you further details." I smiled, weakly at him, "Okay." He smiled as well, "I'll be back." He said, and I watched him leave.

When he finally shut the door, I looked up at the ceiling, and tried to concentrate more on why i was there? Was I...Oh my gosh, I need Roni. Panic feeling my mind, and body .

"RONI." I screamed, but it came out more like a dry whisper. Where are you?

RONIS POV....

We sat their emerged in our phones, laughing at little jokes or memes someone would show. That's until I got a call..

"Hello."

"Hello, is this Veronica Merrell." "Yes." "We have some great news.." "What is it?" "Your sister, she's awake, and well..she'd love to see you."

My heart stopped, Vanessa's awake. She's awake...this couldn't be real? It's too early. Wait i'm suppose to be excited! NESSAS AWAKE!

"OH MY GOD! I'll be their later tonight if i can." I smiled, hanging up the phone, and limping as fast as I could towards my room. Grayson, Cameron, Ethan and Kylie soon followed and began pestering me with questions.

"Is everything okay?" Ethan said, putting his hand on my shoulder. I flinched, and moved away. Tears pouring from my eyes, but they weren't tears of joy...they were tears of sadness, and anger. But Why?

"You okay?" I nodded my head, and put my synthetic leg on. "I need to go." "What's going on, please explain." Grayson said. I looked at him, and sighed. "Nessa's awake."

There eyes brightened up smiles wide on their faces. "Oh my gosh REALLY! Do you want us to come?" Grayson exclaimed. I thought for a second, if they went would Kylie go? "I can't have Kylie going though." I thought to myself.

"Yeah." They all started moving around, I looked carefully at Kylie as she followed Grayson to his room. "She's not coming!"

After 5 minutes everyone was packed. "Maybe Nessa can come to Coachella next week?" They all nodded, and soon after Kylie came out the room with bags.

"Umm what you doing Kylie?" She was about to say something before Grayson interrupted. "Well, I was wond..hoping   Kylie could tag along?"

I looked at her and quietly screamed to myself. "Yeah whatever." I said, grabbing my suitcases and walking out the door.

I'm coming Nessa..I'm coming..

4 HOURS LATER....

We walked into the hospital and looked around, before spotting the front desk.

"Here to see Nessa, Vanessa Merrell." The lady typed it into her computer, and looked up at me. "Your her..." "Twin sister." She looked behind me at everyone else. "Who are they?" "This is my....." I thought for a second.

If i said friends, they wouldn't be able to see her, "This is her boyfriend Ethan, and my boyfriend Grayson, that's our half-sister Cameron, and Kylie's just a friend."

"Well, everyone but Miss Kylie, can see her, Room 25." The lady smiled, and Kylie just looked at me, a menacing look in her eyes. "We'll be back Kylie." Grayson smiled, than we headed towards the room, Vanessa was in.

NESSAS POV....

I sat there nibbling at the oatmeal and strawberrys they gave me. That's till Roni and some other people walked into the room. My eyes shot open as I saw her...her leg? What happened?

"Roni." I whispered. There was a comfortable stare between us before i removed the little cords from my arm and jumped out of bed running towards her.

"Nessa, you shouldn't have..." Then i embraced her. Her sweet scent filling my nose.

"Roni, what's going on?" I whispered, still latched onto her. That's when I realized there were other people in the room. Two very sexy(may I add) boys were standing there with another girl, maybe 19 years old?

"And who are they?" "Nessa listen, there's something i need to tell you."

30 MINUTES LATER...

I was in shock, my whole body froze in place as she explained the graphic details, that took place that night. "Pumpkin pie, and chicken." I whispered remembering, all the little details i could. "Yeah." She giggled.

"Roni, where's mom, and dad." I said. She looked over at the boys, and back at me. "Dad, and Mom are..." Her eyes started to water, and I began to breathe heavier. "Roni.." I whispered backing away from her.

I couldn't breathe, my eyes were fogging up as the realization hit me. "There gone." I whispered, clutching at my chest. That's until i felt a soft hand on my shoulder.

I looked up at a boy, strand blue hair, chocolate brown eyes, very pink plump lips. It's like i'd seen him from somewhere? "Listen, everything's gonna be okay." He whispered, slowly pulling me into a much needed hug.

At first i tensed up, but this warm embrace helped me calm down, so I slowly fell into it. "Your name?" I said looking straight into his eyes. "Ethan."

RONIS POV....

Ethan and her were hugging, while me and Grayson just held hands. "Gray." I whispered, looking over at him.

He looked down at me, and answered with a simple, and quiet, "Yeah".

"Will things change?" He paused for a second before tightening our hold. "I don't know..."
