My flight was 8 hours long. Traveling by myself and for the first time ever is trully terrifying. I sat on my seat and prayed silently to be a nice flight. My heart was pounding like crazy and I was seriously thinking of running outside of that airplane. I tried to distract myself by listening to some music but as soon as the airplane started moving, I freaked out. I closed my eyes and I was breathing heavily. A pat on my shoulder  made me stop and turn to the guy next to me who is looking at me worried. I removed my headphones and waited for him to talk.

"Hey." He's smiling at me.

"Oh.. Hi." I smiled at him awkwardly.

As soon as my eyes met his face, I felt uncomfortable and kept my gaze at my hands that were resting on my lap.

"Is it your first time traveling with an airplane?"

"Actually... yes." I finally looked at him.

He has beautiful and intriguing eyes that stand out.

Grayson is an amazing 17 years old boy who kept me busy during our flight and made me forget that I was in an airplane. Seems that we have a lot in common and I have to admit that I couldn't ask for a better company during my flight. It's amazing how someone you've just met and barely know can make you feel so comfortable around him.

We arrived at 10 a.m and I was extremely tired. It was a long flight but I didn't sleep. I stayed up the whole time talking with Grayson about Paris and criticizing the scenario of a random movie that we watched during our flight.

I have a terrible headache and butterflies to my stomach. It's been almost a month since I last saw him, and we haven't talked for two weeks. I don't know what he thinks. Does he think of me? Does he think of our kiss at all? Because that's what I think about all the time. Did it even mean anything to him? So many dubts and questions bother me and make me sick to my stomach.

As soon as I got out of the airplane, I got a text from Geoff saying that he's waiting for me outside. I walked straight to the washroom and tried to fix myself or at least I tried. I put on some makeup desperetely trying to cover the bags under my eyes but failed miserably. I changed into some leggings and a white crop top before exiting the room. I walked outside. Geoff was on his phone, and I awkwardy walked towards him.

"Hey." I waved at him and smiled.

"Hey. How was your flight?" He asked before he hug me.

"Long." I said and chuckled. He smiled at me.

"To be honest I was a bit surprise when you called me. I thought you would decline his offer and stay home."

"Yeah... I don't know. I thought that too but I guess I changed my mind. How is he?" I asked trying to drop the topic about me.

"He's alright. He's just having a hard time trying to do everything perfect."
A weak smile on his face.

"Let's go." he said and walked towards a black taxi that was waiting for us. He chatted with the driver before he sits inside the car. The driver got out of the taxi and picked my suitcase. I sat in the taxi as well and waited patiently for the driver.

Driving through the city is even more exciting and amazing than I imagined. I've never been so far away from home and that scared me a little but I really want to see the world. To travel, meet people, learn their culture, make memories. I've been living my whole life locked inside a box that I made, trying to protect me from everyone, but I realized that I didn't live my life. I just left so much time pass by while I was locked in there but I can't do this anymore.

The taxi stopped outside a small café and Geoff informed me that Shawn was inside with the rest of the crew. I told him that I'd like to walk around a bit before coming in. It was a long flight, I just need some air.

I put my sunglasses on, carrying my suitcase on my one hand and holding my phone on the other. It was a Monday morning but the streets were packed with people. I took random photos and posted them. I only have three followers and it's a private account so no one cares really.

I texted my mother saying that I landed and that I am okay. I kept walking and walking until I found myself outside of the small café that Shawn was currently having breakfast. Geoff texted me asking where I was and if I was okay. I quickly replied to him and finally found the courage to walk inside. My hands were shaking and I was extremely nervous.

I walked in. I could see Shawn's back from here and smiled at the view. I missed him. He's eating a dessert.

I walked there and placed my hand on his shoulder. His face turned towards me and a shocked expression painted his face. I giggled before he stood up and hugged me. He placed a kiss in my hair and I looked up at him while his arms were still wrapped tightly around me.
I smiled at him and an honest smile spread across his face. I removed my hands from his torso and placed them on his cheecks bringing him closer towards my face. A gave him a quick kiss on the lips but not before making sure that no one is watching and his smile got bigger.

He mouthed me an "I miss you" and I turned red.

For a minute, I forgot that we were in the middle of a crowded cafeteria and that we are surrounded by Shawn's team. I made a few steps back, getting away from Shawn's gaze and waved at them. They were all looking at me, smiling. Shawn grabbed my hand and said a goodbye to the guys before dragging me outside of the cafeteria. I was calling his name and asking him what is he doing but he ignored me and continued walking away from the cafeteria.

"Shawn!" I said this time louder.
He turned around and looked at me, a cheesy smile painted on his face.

"Where are we going? I left my suitcase there... I need to.."

"Geoff will take it to the hotel." He cut me off.

"Where are we going?" I smiled at him.

"Well, I don't know yet."

His hand was still holding mine and I wouldn't mind if there was nobody around but that's impossible.
I can see some girls giggling and whispering to each other and I suddenly feel uncomfortable.

I let go of Shawn for one more time today. He looks at me confused, trying to examine my face. I slightly move my eyes to the left, where the girls are and Shawn looks there.
The girls' whispers got louder and he turned back at me nodding slightly. I look at my feet uncomfortable. I turn around and walk back to the café to get my suitcase.

Geoff and the boys gave me directions to the hotel and I followed it step by step. I checked in and went to my room immediately. I lied in bed trying to relax from the long journey.
I texted Shawn letting him know that I'm in room 876 and that I'll take a nap.

Minutes later there is a knock on my door and I get out of bed with a groan. My eyes are barely open and I open the door. Shawn is looking at me smiling. I ignore him and walk back to bed.

I listen to the door closing and I can feel Shawn walking to me. He sits on the bed and he is caressing my hair with his hand.
I turn at him and he immediaty removes his hand from my hair and place it on his lap. I smile at him.

"Are you gonna leave?"

"Oh... If you want me to go, I can..."

"No. Please stay."

He smiles at me.

"Then I'll stay."

I get up and sit on the bed so I can look at him.

"Okay. Now tell me about your new tattoo."

I know that he's not in Paris right now and I know that this picture is old but I like it so...
