an explanation

so um, hi. if you don't know by now, i'm sarah, i write stories and i have a tendency to ignore my issues.

uhhhhh, first off I'M SORRY. words cannot explain how terrible i feel for not updating in literally foreverrrrr (i think last time I updated was like,,,, october 2016???).

like i genuinely feel like dirt for not updating but i literally couldn't bring myself to do it.

a lot of things came up, but i think the main problem was lack of inspiration. I LOVE THIS BOOK! it's my baby i know you guys only know this story & the teenage kitten but if you're a long time follower u know i had tonsssss of stories i posted (and then later deleted) because of lack of inspiration.

with this story when i started, i was updating likeeee every two days ya girl was on 👏🏾 a 👏🏾 role 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 i was so inspired in the beginning of the story? i deadass could sit down and write just six chapters off the top of my head. i loved it so much because it was something i created from absolutely nothing and built from the ground up and PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIKED IT! something that was completely mine and I made for myself & people enjoyed it. and so i never thought i'd lose inspiration! bitch i thought.

so as i started getting closer & closer to the end of the story, i started losing inspiration for ending it. first my ass couldn't choose an ending & second i can't figure out how to put the ending into words. so i just stopped writing.

and i honestly didn't know if i was ever going to finish this story. i still don't. but then i remembered one of my favourite fan fictions back when i was a youngin, in like grade 7 or something & it was about Harry being an angel and it was called my protector or something and I LOVED THAT STORY!!! and the author never finished it. and to this day i wonder how it would've ended. and i don't want to do that to you guys.

i would like to think we've established a real bond & friendship and i don't want to just leave you all hanging just to wonder. i started this & i need to finish it. you deserve that.

so first off: i think my kik is gone for good lmao i forgot my password 😂 so if you need to message me anything, TEXT ME ON THIS i know, ya'll i knoooooow that i take forever to reply. but tomorrow's the weekend and so i'm going to try & reply to every single person who texts me.

QUESTIONS? TEXT ME. BORED? TEXT ME. NEED TO RANT? TEXT ME. WANT TO TALK ABOUT HARRY'S FUCKING ALBUM?!?!?!?! MESSAGE ME!!!!!!! i'll be the bff of ur dreams :)

next thing: the ending of this story. it's gonna happen sooner rather then later, & so i need y'all to collaborate with me because idk if i can successfully end this story. and you guys know i'm a perfectionist, i'm not releasing chapters i'm not proud of bc this is my child & it deserves the best. so these are our options:

1. Release trash chapters. this is going to take a minute, because this would involve me writing the ending with I haven't done (loool you should probably know this isn't reliable & probably won't happen even if it gets picked).

2. leave the story the way it is. Harry's in the hospital, Niall's in jail. I end it here and I leave y'all to imagine whatever ending u want.

3. I explain the ending. A descriptive paragraph, I explain the ending of this in words, nothing fancy, but it's closure!

4. I explain the ending with also snippets of the written chapters & ideas I had for it. It'll be longer and you can kind of imagine it as a mixture of my author notes scattered in my chapters BUT CLEANER YOU KNOW. I was leaning towards doing this but I decided since we're fam it'll be a vote.

IN MY PERSONAL OPINION if I was y'all I'd aim for 4, but ur heart wants what it wants.

SO THE WAY THIS IS GONNA WORK IS MAJORITY RULES, IMMA GIVE IT A FEW DAYS SO A LOT OF PEOPLE GET A SAY BUT YEAH.

SO ANYWAYS IT FEELS AMAZING TO BE BACK I MISSED WRITING & TALKING TO YOU GUYS WITH ALL OF MY HEART ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

ALSO QUICK QUESTION: should I give this story two different endings? I kinda feel like I should, but at the same time I feel like I shouldn't and it should be one solid idea 😂 so should it have two completely different endings & y'all choose whichever floats ur boat? Or nahhh
