Chapter eighteen

Big apologies for the belated update! I've started a job in the new year, so I've been getting to grips with that! I'm back now, with so many new things to write for you! So, enjoy! :}

Brogan was laying on the bed, while Luke sat beside her, strumming his guitar Brogan was watching him, with a smile on his face.
"I want to sing you a song." He smiled.
Brogan blushed, smiling bigger,
"Really?"
Luke nodded, smiling at her,
"What song would you like to request, ma'am?"
Brogan giggled slightly,
"Ummm... Give Me Love?" She requested.
He grinned, and he began to strum the chords,
"Give me love like her,
'Cause lately I've been waking up alone."
Brogan grinned bigger, sitting up, and turning to face him properly.
"Paint splattered teardrops on my shirt,
Told you I'd let them go,
And that I'll fight my corner,
Maybe tonight I'll call ya,
After my blood turns into alcohol,
No, I just wanna hold ya.
Give a little time to me or burn this out,
We'll play hide and seek to turn this around,
All I want is the taste that your lips allow,

Once he finished, Luke barely had time to set his guitar beside him, when Brogan wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him passionately. Luke wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her back, smiling into the kiss. She sat on his lap, bringing him closer, as Luke stroked her back softly. Shuddering slightly, the two pulled out of the kiss, resting their foreheads against each other's gently,
"Thank you." Brogan whispered.
Luke smiled,
"You're welcome." He replied huskily.
The two stared into each other's eyes, and Luke swallowed slowly, kissing her lips softly once, making Brogan smile.
"Best. Date. Ever." Brogan murmured.
Luke grinned big, before he sighed happily,
"Good, B, I'm glad."
Kissing his lips softly once, Brogan ran a hand through his dreadlocks, and then she looked back into his eyes.
"Wanna lay down for a while?" Luke asked.
Brogan smiled and nodded.
The two pulled away from each other, and then they crawled over to the pillows, the two of them laying down. Luke brought Brogan closer to him instantly, and he wrapped his arms around her waist. Kissing her temple softly, Luke then began stroking her back. Brogan smiled at his gestures, and she rested her head on his chest, enjoying listening to the sound of his heartbeat.
"I'm happiest when I'm with you." Brogan told him.
Luke smiled instantly,
"I'm happiest when I'm with you, too." He replied.
Brogan sighed with contentment, and before they knew it, both of their eyes closed, and they fell into a deep slumber.

Waking up the next day, Luke slowly opened his eyes, blinking them sleepily a couple of times, before he looked around at his surroundings; his eyebrows furrowing together in confusion. Glancing down, he saw Brogan fast asleep on his chest. Realisation hit him, and he smiled to himself. Luke looked at the clock on the bedside table, and saw that it was just before 6 a.m. Shaking Brogan gently, she jumped slightly, opening her eyes, and looking up at him,
"Wha'?" She mumbled tiredly.
"Sorry, B." He said, instantly feeling guilty.
Brogan rubbed her eyes, sitting up,
"Did we fall asleep?" She asked, confused.
Luke nodded,
"Looks like it."
He placed one of his hands behind his head, and he used the other to stroke the bottom of Brogan's back, where her t-shirt had risen.
"Mmm." Brogan grumbled, rubbing her eyes. "What time is it, Lukey?"
"Just before six." He replied softly.
Brogan sighed deeply, and then she turned to Luke, leaning down, and she kissed his lips softly once,
"Morning." She smiled sheepishly.
"Good morning." He smiled.
"I have panda eyes, I know. Please don't laugh."
Luke chuckled softly,
"Wasn't going to, darling."
Brogan smiled, and then she climbed off the bed, making Luke whine, and she walked into the bathroom. Luke sat up, and he stretched, climbing out of bed, and he grabbed his phone, seeing that he had a few text messages from Nicholas.

Luke: Hey, Nicky. Sorry for never replying. Me and Brogan ended up falling asleep. Thanks for covering. I'll be on my way soon. :)

Putting his phone down, he watched Brogan walk back into the bedroom, makeup free, and he grinned,
"I love the natural look on you."
Brogan blushed deeply, smiling sheepishly at him,
"Liar."
Luke laughed,
"I'm serious! Honestly, Brogan. You look great without makeup."
She rolled her eyes playfully at him,
"Guess you gotta get back." There was a hint of disappointment in her voice.
Luke smiled weakly at her, and he nodded,
"Yeah, I do..."
"Well, come on then. Let's get out of here, so I can see you quicker!"
Luke chuckled, taking hold of Brogan's hand, and they got their stuff together, before leaving the hotel room.

Brogan smiled big to herself, reading Luke's latest tweet, as she walked into the itv studios with Katie.
"Uh oh..." Katie teased. "What's he done now?"
Brogan laughed,
"Oh, shut up!"
Katie smiled, shaking her head at her, and then the two walked into runner's room, and over to their lockers.
"Good morning, ladies." Luke said, as he and Nicholas walked in.
Katie and Brogan looked over and smiled,
"Hi."
Luke made his way over to Brogan's side, placing his hand on her back, and he kissed her cheek softly,
"Hi."
Brogan blushed deeply, smiling sheepishly at him,
"Hi."
"Get me a bucket." Nicholas said in a disgusted voice.
Everyone else laughed at him, as he shook his head.
"So, Lukey Boy? Did you have a good time last night?" Katie smirked.
Luke smiled, looking from Brogan, over to Katie.
"Sure he did. He didn't get back until this morning." Nicholas cut in.
Brogan and Luke's eyes widened, as Katie gasped, her mouth dropped open, as she looked at Brogan,
"What?!"
"Nothing happened!" Brogan said.
"Yeah, we just fell asleep." Luke added.
"Heck, I even woke up with panda eyes!"
Katie narrowed her eyes at Brogan, looking at her closely, and then she looked at Luke,
"Kay..." She said unconvincingly.
Luke shook his head, and then he kissed Brogan's cheek softly,
"I'm off to get some breakfast with the boys. See you later, yeah?"
Brogan smiled and nodded,
"Okay. See you later."
Luke smiled, and walked over to Nicholas, slapping the back of his head,
"Ow!" He exclaimed, rubbing his head, as the two boys walked out of the room.
"I swear nothing happened." Brogan assured her.
Katie smiled,
"Okay, okay! I believe you. Calm down." She laughed.

"Hi, guys! Wow, it feels like forever since I've vlogged for you guys, but um... Yeah. Hi." She let out a laugh. "I'm just about to go over to the stage and see Nicholas performing, so let go and see how he's getting on." Brogan stopped recording, and then she started to film her feet, the view in front of her, and other cast members, as she made her way towards the stage. When she got there, she started filming Nicholas, as she walked over to him.
"Hello, hello, hello." Nicholas greeted her with a smile.
When she reached him, the two exchanged a hug.
"Hey, how's it going?" Brogan asked, filming him.
"Uh, yeah! It's going really well actually. "
"You excited for Saturday?"
"Hell yeah! I always am!"
Brogan laughed, and then she saw Louis coming onto the stage, and she turned, filming him,
"Hey, Louis."
"Hi, Brogan." He smiled and waved slightly.
Brogan smiled, and she stopped recording,
"I'll be over there." Brogan told Nicholas, before walking over to the edge of the stage, waiting to take him to wardrobe.

The rest of the week went pretty quickly. Brogan and Luke tried to keep their relationship as low key as possible, when the two found themselves tweeting the same songs most days. And Katie caught a few moments, but not huge moments, in her vlog. Everyone was talking about them online, and Brogan was feeling slightly panicky. It was Saturday, and Brogan knew that Luke was excited to perform.
"You all ready?" Brogan asked, her arms crossed over her chest, as she leaned against the doorframe watching him in hair.
"Very." He smiled, looking up at her.
"No surprises?" She warned.
Luke chuckled,
"No surprises." He looked at her, and grinned. "Promise."
"Okay, good. Because of your little stunt, everyone basically knows."
Luke scoffed,
"Don't act like you didn't love it."
When Brogan didn't reply, he glanced at her, and smiled, seeing that she was looking down at the floor, with a smile on his face.

Saturday came and went by too quickly. And now the results were in.
"Luke!" Dermott called.
Brogan gasped and grinned big, seeing Luke's reaction was hilarious, but she was too happy to even laugh. She and Katie grinned big, hugging each other tightly, and then Brogan waited for Luke to come off. Within seconds, Luke rushed over, wrapping his arms around Brogan's waist, and he span around. Brogan squealed, holding his shoulders, and she laughed hard,
"Luke!"
He set her down, and kissed her forehead softly, sighing happily.
"Congratulations." She smiled.
"Thanks, B. I appreciate it."
