2 years on...

Luke seemed to be on a constant high. Nothing really seemed to make him down. Sure when he was away, he felt homesick and missed his family. But at the same time, he was living his dream and he loved it. His debut album was getting put together and it was a very exciting time in his career. Luke was still in contact with everyone from the xfactor, and often went and visited Nicholas whenever he could.

Two years on, Brogan was still working as a runner on the show, and she honestly loved it. She and Katie were closer than ever and the two were both still in charge of a category. The new series of the xfactor was about to start, and the pair had even started working from the audition period which was new to them. But they loved it. Brogan moved to London, in a flat with Katie. She was a lot more confident with herself, even if there was still the odd camera flashing in her face.

She and Luke were still going strong. But the two were still keeping everyone in the dark. Even though Luke's big grand gesture of showing her in a performance on the big screens, the two had never confirmed nor denied their relationship status. Luke visited regularly and stayed over as well.

blnx3: I swear @KatieJohnson always leaves on purpose when there's a spider in the house. #sendhelp
LukeFriendMusic: @blnx3 almost at yours. I'll kill it for you x
blnx3: @LukeFriendMusic oh thank god! It's huge!!! X

LukeFriendMusic: @blnx3 so another tiny one then? ;) x
blnx3: @LukeFriendMusic mean x

The flat door opened, and Brogan stood up from the sofa and made her way over to the hallway.
"Forgive me." Luke grinned and opened his arms out.
Brogan smiled and walked into his arms, the two in a tight embrace.
"I missed you." She mumbled.
"I missed you too, B." Luke kissed the top of her head.
The two pulled away, and they shared a smile.
"You sure about this?" Luke asked, raising his eyebrows at her.
"Yeah." Brogan nodded. "Why? Don't you want me to come? I totally understand if you don't."
Luke shook his head quickly,
"There's nothing I want more, darling."
Brogan smiled at him.

The two had arranged to go out with Luke's friends in a very popular nightclub in London. Brogan couldn't remember the name, but she knew it was where the paparazzi usually were. They decided to give Luke's fans some answers, as well as Brogan's subscribers. They had been nagging for answers since the two had met on the show.

When their car arrived outside the club, Luke got out first, a wide smile on his face. Connor was already there, and they were going to meet him inside. Brogan took a deep breath, already seeing the flashes. Luke turned back to inside the car, and he held out his hand for her; a reassuring smile on his face. Brogan smiled and took it, climbing out of the car. The pair continued holding hands as Luke closed the car door behind her, and then they walked inside the nightclub, and a deep sigh of relief left Brogan's lips.

Brogan knew that Luke had been photographed and even snapchatted with girls in the past. But what the public didn't know, was that Brogan was always there. Just away from the cameras. It wasn't that she didn't want anyone to know. She wanted to get used to the idea first, which Luke understood 100%. He sometimes hated having to go to events without her, sometimes wishing he had his good luck charm by his side when he was performing. But he understood. Anyway, it wasn't like she wasn't ever there. She always was. Just in the back; at the side of the stage, watching with a wide smile on her face. Brogan had been caught by fans once or twice, but they never commented on it, pretending it never happened. Sure they had photographic evidence. There was no need to make up excuses. It happened, big deal.

"Finally! Hello Lukey boy!" Connor greeted, the two embracing, causing Luke and Brogan's hands to drop. "Brogan! Good to see you again!" Connor pulled her into an embrace, who laughed, hugging him back.
"Hiya, Con. How ya doing?"
"I'm doing well, Brogan. Not gonna lie."
The two shared a laugh, before making their way over to a booth.
As they got comfortable, Luke nudged Brogan gently, and then nodded to his phone.

Martin: Plan worked, mate. Paps got picture of Brogan. You're officially off the market, my friend. :)

The two shared a smile, and Brogan rolled her eyes playfully at Martin's choice of words, before a waitress walked over, asking for their orders. (This was still something Brogan wasn't used to. She was used to going up to the bar and ordering herself. Having someone come to you and take your order, was something that was almost foreign to her.)
"To a good night!" Connor toasted when their drinks arrived.
Everyone else clinked their glasses together, and when Brogan and Luke clinked theirs, he winked at her, causing Brogan to grin.
"Let's get a picture, eh? To celebrate the night Brogan finally said fuck you to the press and showed her face to the world as Luke Friend's girlfriend." Connor announced, getting his phone out.
Brogan laughed at his choice of words, shaking his head. But nonetheless, the group of friends all posed for a picture, and Luke couldn't help but wrap his arm around her, as they smiled for the picture.

ConnorMaynard: Drinks with my faves. :)

"So come on, Brog. When're you and Luke moving in together?"
Brogan raised her eyebrows,
"Wha?"
"You and Luke. When are you finally biting the bullet and moving in together?"
The two shared a look, and then Luke shook his head smiling,
"We've never spoke about it."
"Why not?"
"Because Brogan lives with Katie."
"So?" Connor shrugged. "Katie has a boyfriend. They're pretty committed."
"Yeah but moving in together is usually what makes or breaks the relationship." Brogan added.
Connor laughed taking a sip of his beer,
"You really think that you two living together will really split you two up? If anything, it'll make you closer."
Luke rolled his eyes,
"You're just wanting us to move in together so I live here and you have a regular drinking buddy."
"Well I didn't want to say it out loud..."
The three of them laughed.

Brogan laughed seeing his tweet,
"Loser."
"Hey." Luke pouted. "It's nice that it's not a standard picture. You're mine, darling. And I want the world to finally know." He told her, kissing her temple softly.
"Sorry I made you wait so long." Brogan said quietly.
Luke shook his head,
"It was worth it." He leaned down. "You're worth it always." Luke kissed her lips softly.
The two hadn't spoken about Connor's topic of conversation from last night, but the two had thought a lot about it separately. At the end of the day, it all came down to that one question: were they ready? That was the answer that they didn't know. Because unless they did it, they wouldn't. Brogan was curled up against Luke's side as he strummed his guitar. "We'll take on the world." He sang. Brogan's heart practically melted. She remembers the first time she had said those words to him, and it turns out, those words were good enough for him to write a song. She was happy. There was no doubt about that. Heck, Brogan was even more enthusiastic with the amount of times she uploaded on her YouTube channel. She was so happy, nothing could bring her down.
"So about what Connor said last night..." Luke said.

Dunn. Dunn. Dunnnnnn. What'll happen next?!
