Chapitre Seize

When Kenneth and I touched down in Paris, and after I finished facetiming Kens mom, I called Charlie.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Hey Char."

"Wassup. I just heard what went down at the airport."

That fast? "Let me guess, Media Take Out?"

"Girl yes, where was you and that fine ass man going?"

"That fine ass man is my husband,  you better watch it." I joked. "We in Paris though." 

"Aw shit now. I see you, I see you."

I laughed. "And I know my reason to be celibate was to wait for my husband but, even though I wanna have sex with Ken, is it wrong to want to wait longer?"

"Of course not, it's your body, your decision. But now, it's not a priority. It's not consequential." She says.

"You're right. But I don't even know if he was thinking about that though."

"Then that's good, you got you a respectful one."

I smiled, "Yep." I heard the toilet flush in the bathroom. "He's coming out the bathroom so I'll call you later. We're about to go out."

"Alright Kay, my fine ass man should be here any minute now anyway." 

"What man?" I asked.

She laughed. "Bye Lani."

I shook my head like she could see me.

I said my goodbye and Ken and I headed out.

When we got back to our suite that night and took our showers, I didn't know what to expect.

I climbed beside him in the bed and smiled. "Thank you for an amazing day."

He turned to face me. "No, I wanna thank you. You've made me the happiest man alive." 

"You're just saying that." I say with a smirk.

"I'm serious tho."

"Mhm."

He chuckled. "Forreal."

"Oh my God, I love your laugh."

"I just love your voice, it's sexy."

I blushed.

"And your blush, I love having that effect on you."

"I make you blush too." I say, laughing.

Kenneth shakes his head. "Nah, I don't blush."

"Oh word?"

"Word."

I challenged this by kissing him. When I pulled away, sure enough, he was red.

"See."

"That ain't fair." He says rolling on top of me.

I laughed. "Get off me." There was silence. "Kenny." Still no answer. "Nigga."
