Chapter 2

Allis POV

My bed was warm making it even harder to leave it than yesterday. This was a day when I just felt like I could sleep through out the whole day. I have been working none stop for the past month in a try to help my mom back in Manchester. She is sick and my dad and brother is taking care of her so I decided I wanted to do something for her too.
This may sound crazy but I jumped out of college to move here to London so I could work and send the money home.
I love my mom and I would never want her to pass,God I hate that word.

After 10 minutes I managed to get out of my way to comfortable bed and carry myself to the bathroom. What I saw in my mirror made me gasp and widen my eyes,in a try to make the view better but it didn't get better.
I had dark bags under my eyes,my skin was pale and my hair was a mess,it literally looked like it started to live it's own life.

I frowned and started to try to fix the messy problem in front of me. Through out the process I just felt how weak my body was and how tired I was,I couldn't make it to the job. I felt horrible sick.

I looked up on myself again in the mirror and fast shook my head. This was a mess a big one but I knew I had to go to work today to get the money that my family needed,that my mother needed.
I changed my clothes and walked downstairs. It was already late and I didn't have time to eat,I'd be late.
I grabbed my jacket and put my shoes on. I closed the door to my apartment,shoved the key into the lock and locked it. I ran down the buildings stairs and finally managed to get to the door. It wasn't hot outside nor was it cold.

A big yawn left my lips as I walked down the empty and quiet street.
The houses and flats were quiet,everyone was sleeping. Of course they were,it was 8 in the morning.
Finally I came to the park which I always cross before I go to work,I have to walk across it everyday to get to work and I just love it.
Sometimes when I have at least one hour free I come here and just looks over the little sea and admiring all the small details like birds singing.

It was usually empty in the mornings when I come here but today it was different. It wasn't empty nor was it full,not even half empty.
I came to a halt as I saw a boy sitting by a bench with a book in his hands. He looked so familiar with his long curly...hair and...tall figure.
It was the guy from yesterday,it was Harry.

A smile formed on my lips as I decided to slowly walk up to him.
As I came to a halt behind him I tilted my head,letting myself look over his shoulder and down in his book.

"How to kill a mockingbird?" My sudden question made him fast look back on me. His eyes widen and his talk figure fast stood up.

"You...uh..uh yeah heh um.." he was nervous I could tell and he pressed himself against the bench like he tried to get away from me.

"Oh" I chuckled awkwardly as I realised he may not like how close I was standing next to him. I stepped back from him at least one meter and as fast as I did I saw how his tense structure in his body relaxed.

"It's beautiful here right?" I smiled and looked over my shoulder to the still quiet water.

"M-mhm yeah..." he said in a low tone. When I looked back to him I could see how his eyebrows furrowed and his eyes focused on something on me.
In confusion I looked down on myself and furrowed my brows.

"Something wr-"

"What's your name?" He asked cutting me out of guard. I giggled quietly and tilted my head.

"My name is Alli" I smiled still looking on how focused his eyes were on me.

"I...I just...Your jacket isn't,quiet..zipped up properly. I-I mean,I like your name" he stuttered and looked up at me and fast looked down again.

I looked down on myself and chuckled.
"Oh my bad thank you" I smiled before I zipped my jacket up to my neck.
There we stood for a good 5 minutes just quiet admiring the beautiful aura in the air.

"Do you want a coffee? I am heading to work,I could always give you one for free" I grinned at him. He furrowed his brows and frowned.

"You sure a-about that?" He mumbled and tugged on the end of his grey hoodie. I giggled at his unsure face expression and nodded.

"Yes,yes if course" suddenly I could see a hint of pink appearing on his pale cheeks,I couldn't help but to smile widely.

"Okay..." he mumbled nodding. He turned back to the bench and looked down on his book and the pencils lined up properly next to it.

"Need some help with that?" I smiled and grabbed the pens. His eyes widen as they started at my hand holding the pencils. Before I knew it he grabbed onto them and snatched them out from my hand.

"Ookay...I guess that's a no" I chuckled as I looked down on him.
He placed the pencils properly in a little pocket in his back by size and his book at the bottom of his bag.

"Keys in the right...Wallet in the left..." he whispered and placed them properly as he just whispered.
I gotta admit I thought he was acting strange but I guess it was just some sort of routine he had.

"Okay ready to go?" I smiled up at the green eyed boy. He nodded and started to walk slowly with me.

"So Harry,Do you work with anything? Do you study?" I asked with a small resting smile on my face.

"No work...no..school" I furrowed my eyebrows and nodded small trying to understand why.

"Why not?isnt that like important?" I chuckled awkwardly. He just looked down in the ground not answering.

"Someone is in a bad mood,yeah?" I joked and pushed my hand against his shoulder and before I knew it he slapped my arm away. I gasped and dragged my hand back against my chest.
Harry eyes widen as he saw the red mark on my forearm.

"I-I'm sorry I...I don't know why I..I just don't like-" I smiled small and chuckled confused.

"It's...fine..let just feet the coffee..." the rest of the walk was quiet and stiff,I was confused by Harry's strange behaviour but I knew that I'd love to get familiar with it and learn more.
