"Dani? Baby? Can I come in?" Mom softly knocked on the door. It's been three days since I went off like a lunatic. I hadn't left my room for anything. I couldn't eat and I didn't want to talk to anyone. I basically hadn't left my corner of the bed. The covers and sheets were over my head as I peaked out of the covers and out the window, looking over the city as I had been doing for the past few days. "Danielle?"
"No." I muttered.
"Come on, Dani. I'll have JARVIS override the locks." Dad threatened.
"No." I repeated. The doors opened on dad's cue.
"Danielle?" Mom sat on the edge of my bed.
"Leave me alone. I don't want anyone." I pulled the covers the rest of the way over my face, engulfing me in darkness.
"Come on. Uncover your head, Danielle." Dad said.
"No."
"Dani. Sweetie. You haven't eaten in days. Please." Mom was crying.
"I'm fine. Dad's gone days without it. I'll be okay."
"Danielle. Come on. Everyone's worried about you." Dad rubbed my leg.
"I look like shit. I don't want to see anyone."
"Not even me?" Phil asked. I didn't know he was in the room. He was my best friend, always positive and there for me. He's been through a lot too. I paused.
"No." I really did. But I needed a shower and I looked like shit and if the others knew I let him in, they'd be coming in too. "I don't want to see anyone. I'm sorry. Just leave me alone."
"Jade's worried about you." Mom sniffled.
"I'm still alive. Please go."
"Okay sweetie." She patted my back and left.
"Bye, honey." Dad whispered before leaving with her and Phil. When I knew they were gone, I got up and went to my laptop after locking the door. Thousands of people were sending me messages and all. Orlando Bloom had messaged me and we talked through Facebook every once in a while.
