The Meeting

"Danielle?" Jade's voice came from behind the door as she knocked. Grant sighed and sat up.

"Yeah?" I held Grant's hand. She walked in.

"Ooooooooh." She squealed.

"Shut it." I giggled.

"Omg. Did I interrupt something?" She asked, putting a hand over her mouth.

"No." Grant chuckled.

"Whatcha doing here?" I asked. She sat on the other side of Grant.

"Your birthday party was yesterday. I wasn't able to come. So me and you are going to the new club on Waterlick!" She squealed.

"I love you!" I hugged her. Grant looked uneasy. "I won't do anything. I don't drink..... yet."

"Oh boy." He chuckled.

"I'm going to take a nap since I got no sleep last night, Jade. Come back by then." I said.

"Okay. See ya later." She waved and left. Grant got up and started to leave but I pulled him back to me.

"You're staying with me." I curled up next to him. He put his arms protectively around me and chuckled. We slept for about three hours. After Grant left, I grabbed another shower, straightened my hair, and put on the teal dress. I put on white heals and my sunglasses after putting eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara on. I threw my white, diamond studded purse over my shoulder and walked out to the living room. "Mom? Dad? I'm going somewhere with Jade. I'll be back later." I waved.

"Be careful, Danielle." Mom smiled.

"I'll try." I giggled. Grant walked with me to the elevator. Once the doors closed, he pulled me into a kiss. "I'll see you in a few hours."

"Okay." He kissed my forehead before letting me go. I walked to one of my cars and got in. Happy was driving and Jade was sitting in the back.

"The paparazzi's outside." She sighed.

"Oh great." I put my sunglasses on my head.

"Do you know any other agents that look as hot as your's?" Jade grinned.

"No I don't, Jade." I sighed with a smile.

"Damn it." She muttered. The club was a few minutes away. I put my sunglasses on as we got out. Happy cleared a path through the fucking paparazzi.

"Thanks, Happy." I patted his shoulder as we walked in the club. I danced with Jade and a few other people. We stayed at the club for a it two hours when dad called me. "Hey dad!"

"Apparently we need to go to a meeting. Have Happy drive you to the courthouse. Hammer's going off about something." Dad sighed.

"Great. I'll be there in a few minutes." I groaned. I walked to Happy. "Take me to the courthouse. Then come back and take Jade home."

"Yes ma'am." Happy opened the car door for me. He sped to the courthouse.

"Thanks, Happy." I patted the car and walked into the courthouse. Senator Stern was in the front, going on about something. Everyone turned to me when I walked in. "Did I miss the party?" I asked sarcastically.

"Its good to have you finally join us, Ms. Stark." Stern glared at me.
