Chapter 9

DANNYS POV.

I look around the school entrance, looking for (Y/n). I stopped by her house in the morning but she wasn't there. I know I fucked up...but where the hell is she? I run my fingers through my hair to calm myself. She's gotta show up to school..

(Tucker)- " Relax Danny-- she'll be here" as he puts his hand on my shoulder. I shrug it off.

(Danny)- " You don't get it, tucker. I missed her birthday..I'm mad at myself"

(Sam)- " You can apologize when she gets here"

(Danny)- " If she gets here.." I just want to see her, tell her that I'm sorry. Sam and Tucker continue their conversation, I block them out and search for (Y/n). I hear a motorcycle engine from a far distance. I look over there and see someone getting off. The helmet comes off--

(Tucker)- " Danny.. Check this out on my facebook" Tucker distracts me and leans over with his phone.

(Danny)- " Hold on--is that (Y/n)?" I look back up and see her getting off the bike...who is she with?

(Tucker)- " Is she getting off a motorcycle, that is so cool"

(Sam)- " Uh oh.."

(Danny)- "uh oh, is right...I'll be right back"

YOUR POV.

Oh my lanta-- that was a fun ride. I would totally buy one of these...once we were stable, I got off the bike, while taking the helmet off. I feel the adrenaline inside of me-- now what do I do with all this energy?

(Baird)- " Enjoyed the ride?"

(Y/n)- " Hell yeah!"

(Baird)-" Let me see your phone.." I take out my phone from my bag and pass it to him. He slides to unlock it. What is he doing?

(Baird)- " Here, call me anytime you need a ride...or a friend" he says passing me my phone back. He typed in his number into my phone, he saved it under Baird with a motorcycle emoji. I snickered at the sight of the emoji, it's pretty funny.

(Y/n)- " You'll be the first person I call when I'm robbing a 7-11"

(Baird)- " As long as you get me a slurpee"

(Y/n)- " thanks for the ride, Baird"

(Baird)- " You're welcome, see you around red." he says as he clicks his tongue putting the helmet on, and driving away. The sound of the engine was nice, very loud too. I look around and people were looking at him and to me.

(Danny)- " (Y/n)?" I feel my chest tighten...damn, I should have had Baird on stand by..Better to face Danny now than later. I turn around and held my bag strap to help with my nerves.

(Y/n)- " What?" I say calmly, looking at him... I'm upset already...

(Danny)- " Who was that?" he asked. I can almost hear the slight bit of jealously in his voice.

(Y/n)- "Just a friend.." I say heading towards inside the school. He quickly follows behind me

(Danny)- " Okay...I'm just gonna ignore the guy for a quick second.... I've been looking for you"

(Y/n)- " Have you now..." I'm getting irritated, now he cares about me...

(Danny)- " I'm sorry I missed your birthday-- I got caught up in my own shit"

(Y/n)- "Yeah, I get it... I say as I continue walking, he gently grabs my arm but I shrug it off.
