Among the fog of the morning on the sea, seagulls fly and dolphins swim on their merry way. A large ship makes it's way through as the fog dissipates and the dolphins move out of its way.
"I'll tell you a tale of the bottomless blue
And it's hey to the starboard, heave ho
Look out, lad, a mermaid be waitin' for you
In mysterious fathoms below." The sailors sang as Emil, the pet dog of the prince, ran up to his owner.
"Isn't this great? The salty sea air, the wind blowing in your face . . .a perfect day to be at sea!" Matthias announced as he and Emil looked out over the ocean.Denmark: finally!
Iceland: did I have to be the dog?
Me: it was either the flounder or Max.
Berwald, Prince Matthias's advisor, leaned over the side of the ship. As he stood to full height, he still looked very green in the face.
"Oh yes . . . delightful . . . ." Berwald muttered as he leaned over the side of the ship again.
"A fine strong wind and a following sea. King Ivan must be in a friendly-type mood." Tim, one of the sailors, said happily as he worked.Russia: finally! I'm not the villain!
"King Ivan?" Matthias asked Tim as he turned away from looking a the ocean.
"Why, ruler of the merpeople, lad. Thought every good sailor knew about him." Allistar, another sailor, said as he smiled over a the prince with a fish in hand.
"Merpeople! Matthias, pay no attention to this nautical nonsense." Berwald said as he walked up to them.
"But it ain't nonsense, it's the truth! I'm tellin' you, down in the depths o' the ocean they live." Allistar said in Berwald's face and waved the fish in front of him. The fish took it's chance and was able to jump out of Allistar's hand. The fish dove and landed in the water.
"Heave. ho. Heave, ho. In mysterious fathoms below." The sailors sing as the fish, Feliciano, sighed in relief and swam off.
Meanwhile, under the waves, fish and Merpeople alike swim for king Ivan's castle. They fill up the concert hall and cheer for the upcoming performance.
"Ahem . . . His royal highness, King Ivan!" Toris, the seahorse, announces as the king comes out on his chariot that is pulled by dolphins. Using his trident, King Ivan makes the chandelier light up and the crowd cheers for him.
"And presenting the distinguished court
composer, Horatio Thelonious Ignatius Crustaceous Arthur Kirkland!" Toris announces as Arthur the crab come out on his own chariot filled by small fish. He gets a small applause as he enters. Arthur hurriedly tries to catch up with King Ivan and his fish get a little out of control. He is barely able to calm them when he makes it to Ivan's side.England: did I have to be Sebastian?
Me: yes! You fit his personality!
England: do not!
America: as the Disney expert, I say it work!
England: who made you a Disney expert!?
"I'm really looking forward to this performance, Arthur." King Ivan said to the crab with a smile.
"Oh, Your Majesty, this will be the finest concert I have ever conducted. Your daughters - they will be spectacular!" Arthur announced happily to King Ivan in return.Me: before I forget hey Norway could you?
Norway: *sigh* alright *turns himself into a girl with his wand*
Me: thanks!
England: why can't you just ask me like that!?
Me: cause Norway is a nicer person.
"Yes, and especially my little Sunniva." King Ivan stated as his chariot can to a stop.
"Yes, yes, she has the most beautiful voice. . . . " Arthur trailed off as he headed for his place at the head of the orchestra.
"If only she'd show up for rehearsals once in a while. . . ." Arthur muttered under his breath as he stood at his podium. He pulled out his baton and began to conduct. The beautiful music filled the hall as the huge clams shells appeared on stage. All but one of the shells opens to reveal six of the daughters.
"Ah, we are the daughters of Ivan.
Great father who loves us and named us well:
Elizabeta, Bella, Katyusha, Natalia, Erika, Trấn.
And then there is the youngest in her musical debut,
Our seventh little sister, we're presenting her to you,
To sing a song Arthur wrote, her voice is like a bell,
She's our sister, Sunn-i . . ." The everyone gasped. Sunniva was not in her shell. Arthur's face filled with panic as everyone turned to look at King Ivan.Everyone: *moves away from Ivan*
"Sunniva!" King Ivan yelled angrily as his trident glowed.
Meanwhile, Sunniva was looking at a sunken ship far away from the palace.
"Sunniva, wait for me . . ." Vladimir, the flounder, yelled from a distance. Sunniva rolled her eyes at the slowness of her best friend.Magic Trio: okay now it makes sense.
"Vladimir, hurry up!" Sunniva yelled over her shoulder at the fish.
"You know I can't swim that fast." Vladimir said trying to catch his water breath as he floated next to her.
"There it is. Isn't it fantastic?" Sunniva asked as she stared at the ship.
"Yeah . . . sure . . . it - it's great. Now let's get outta here." Vladimir said clearly afraid.
"You're not getting cold fins now, are you?" Sunniva asked as she began to swim closer.
"Who, me? No way. It's just, it, err . . . it looks - damp in there. Yeah. And I think I may be coming down with something. Yeah, I got this
cough." Vladimir said as he added a cough for good measure.
"All right. I'm going inside. You can just stay here and - watch for sharks." Sunniva said before she swam through a porthole window. This left Vladimir outside alone.
"O.K. Yeah - you go. I'll stay and - what?Sharks! Sunniva!" Vladimir yelled as he tried to force his way through the porthole. He gets stuck though.
"Sunniva . . . I can't . . . I mean- Sunniva help!" Vladimir yelled causing Sunniva to turn around and laugh.
