Chapter 22 Welcome to Nirvana

Lauren's POV

We all started running towards Nirvana. I was tired and probably so was everyone else. We continued to run and run, attacking the shadow monsters that we passed.

Once we reached the bottom of nirvana, we all stopped to rest.

"Be careful. Nirvana keeps moving so just be careful." Kelly said.

"You said be careful twice." Jennifer said.

Kelly rolled her eyes then we all climbed up the legs of Nirvana. "How tall is this thing?!"

"Taller than the tress. That's my answer!" Edith shouted.

"Screw this!" I heard Stephanie yell as she flew up using her aera magic.

"No fair!" Nick shouted.

We continued climbing until we reached the top. Stephanie waved at us.

"You guys are slow." Stephanie said.

Kelly sighed and looked at me. "Time?"

"4:27. It took us twenty minutes to get up here." I replied. "Huh. New record." Kelly joked.

We walked around the top of nirvana, taking in the old homes of the Nirvit people.

"This is amazing." I mumbled, admiring the ancient civilization. "There should be pictures of this place in a museum."

"Well, don't forget. This place was a made up home in an anime so it was obviously fake. But now who knows?" Noah said, looking around as well.

"I guess it's time to report to Kid like he told us to do. Everyone go spread out and check if the coast is clear." Kelly commanded. We all nodded and went opposite directions to check for enemies.

Kelly's POV

I continued to write on the piece of paper I had. It's been ten minutes. The others should arrive soon. "Hey! We're back!"

I turn around to see everyone back, and luckily in one piece. "Coast clear?"

"Coast clear."

I smiled and continued to write the report. Once I finished, I folded it neatly and threw it up in the air. I watched as it slowly disappeared.

"Think Kid will actually have a plan?" Jennifer asked.

I nod. "Yeah. He will."

Kid's POV

I walked around the forest with Liz and Patty in their weapon forms.

"Are we there yet?!" Liz shouted.

I sighed in annoyance and continued walking. I looked up to see a piece of paper. "Is it a report from Kelly again?"

I unfolded the paper and read the letter.

Kid,

We have just reached the top of Nirvana. (word of advice, fly don't climb up the legs of the building. It's faster) The coast is clear. What's our mission? What do we do now?

I immediately wrote a reply and sent it to the group. I continued on my way through the forest, blasting the shadow monsters along the way.

Kelly's POV

I continued to sit there until a piece of paper landed on my lap.

"Kid?" Stephanie asked. I nodded and began reading.

Kelly,

Great job making it onto Nirvana. (and I will use your advice by the way) Your mission is to continue looking for Soul and the other corrupted ones. Also look for Medusa and anyone else that may be suspicious. Good luck. I'll be seeing you soon.

"Seeing us soon? Is he joining us?" Victor asked.

"Maybe. We'll still have to look for Soul and the others, though."

I sighed.

"Ok. Everyone split up. We're going to spilt up and report back here in two hours." I commanded.

Everyone nodded. The groups were Stephanie and Lauren, Nick, Victor, and Noah, Jennifer, Paige, and Vylan, then Edith, Emily, Milli, and I. We all then went our separate ways.

Stephanie's POV

I continued walking around with Lauren. "So what now?" I mumbled. Lauren shrugged.

Ice then appeared in front of us. I quickly flew up dodging the ice and Lauren used boiling water to protect herself.

I looked towards the opponent.

Wendy's POV

I suddenly felt a chill run up my spine.

"Wendy? Are you ok?" Maka asked.

"Y-yeah." I replied. But I know what happened. Gray has entered the battlefield.

Stephanie's POV

I glared. Gray has appeared.
