Jennifer's POV

"Is he going to be okay?" I asked as I sat there next to Edward's bed.

"He'll be fine. I was able to take away the pain. You were lucky the sword didn't pierce through his whole body and just a small layer of skin." Wendy said as she finished healing him.

I nodded my head as Al remained silent.

"Wendy! Wendy! We need help ASAP! It's life or death here!"

The three of us immediately turned our heads to see Stephanie, Milli, Paige (yes she was left with the others), Lauren, Noah, Nick, and Victor all run up to us. in Stephanie's arms was Kelly, her head gushing blood.

"Oh my god." Wendy whispered, her hands covering her mouth. It was terrifying. Kelly was near death or already was. How could this happen?

"With this wound, I can only do so much." Wendy muttered. "Stein! Please come over here!"

Just then, Professor Stein walked in. "What is it?" Wendy motioned over to Kelly. Stein inspected the hole in her head and his eyes widen at the sight of the blood and deepness of the hole.

"We need to put her in surgery immediately. Wendy, I'll need your help as well." Stein explained as he picked Kelly up from Stephanie's arms, revealing a thin layer of blood on her skin. When Wendy and Stein left, Stephanie left to wash her arms, leaving the others to explain to me what happened.

"So, Kid did this? But I thought he was on our side." I mumbled. "He was a puppet like Soul and the others. And the fact that he knows about the true love thing doesn't help. He'll definitely block off all romantic thoughts now." Lauren said.

"Plus, the only other girl that I know that likes him is Kelly, who is out of commission. But Liz and Patty maybe, but it'll be tricky since they're in weapon form and they can't communicate with us." I sighed.

"What are we going to do?" I slouched in my seat, burying my face with my hands. This was too much already. The war, the corruption, everything. I hated it. Why did I think this would be fun?! "Dammit!" I shouted.

"All we can do is wait." Al said as he looked from both me to his brother. I looked over at Ed to, who was sleeping peacefully. But when I looked over at the others again, all I could remember was Kelly's bloody head.

Milli's POV

I stood outside the healing center. I couldn't face the others. I failed my meister. She was wounded and I didn't even say anything at all. I just stood there. I sighed as I looked up into the sky, at least hoping it to be a starry blue night sky, but it wasn't. It was red, like blood.

"This war is terrible." I turned to see Noah walking outside. "This is, like, the first time you've ever talked to me." I said.

Noah shrugged. "Needed air. Seeing too much blood in a day makes me nauseas." I nodded in agreement. "I wonder how my friends are doing." Noah sighed. "They were trained at the DWMA while I was at Fairy Tail."

"What were their names?" I asked. "Tommy and Clark." Noah replied. "Tommy, the guns meister, and Clark the gun weapon." I muttered. "What? You saying you know them?" Noah asked.

I nodded my head. "Yeah, they were pretty tough in my training group. Second group to get a soul resonance right. Their battle station was somewhere around here." I explained, looking around.

"Maybe I should go check around the place, see if I can find them." Noah suggested. "No need." I smiled as I see a group of boys run over to the healing center. One of the boys was Tommy, wielding a silver gun.

"Yo! Noah! Long time no see!" Tommy greeted as Clark changed into his human form. Noah smiled a goofy grin. "Nice to see you too."

"Hey, you're that weapon chick with the girl from earlier. The one I accidentally kicked the soccer ball into her face." Eddy said. I nodded before remembering Kelly again, falling to my knees already sobbing.

"Look at what you did, Eddy!" his weapon partnered yelled, changing back from a bladed rifle to a boy with pale skin, freckles, and brown hair. "No, it's just... Kelly is..." I mumbled.

"Near death." Noah ended for me, causing me to burst into tears again. The group of boys had a look of concern on their faces as they walked inside. "Once you're calmed down, come back inside, okay?" Noah said as he rested a hand on my shoulder. I nodded before he walked back inside, leaving me on the grass to continue crying.
