The First Date

Danielle's POV

"Okay so Sara's mom said that she will let us stay the whole day, so where do you wanna go next?" I asked Cameron. When I said that he had a smile on his face.

"How about the movies? We can go watch Frozen." We all left and drove to the movies together. After we settle into the movie theatre, I see Cameron come sit next to me and wrap his arm around me. I smiled at him and put my head on his shoulder.

"I know I haven't known you for a really long time, but you make me feel so happy and I really like you. Sorry if I'm moving to fast with things. I just have to have you." Cameron nervously said. My mouth dropped in shock. Was this seriously happening? Or am I just dreaming? I pinched my leg to see if it was a dream, but it wasn't.

"I really like you too, I feel like I've known you for forever even though I've only known you for eight hours." I said. He squeezed me closer to him, I never wanted him to let me go. 

"I play baseball, you should come and bring Danielle and Sara one day and watch one of my games." Taylor said to Courtney. He put his hand ontop  of hers and smiled at her. 

"Yeah that sounds fun!" Courtney said. She smiled back and chuckled at him. He was acting like he liked her too. Could all of us actually date these boys? We watch the rest of the movie without talking. We only had a few more hours before we had to leave to go home. All of us exchanged numbers and we had time to go somewhere else for little bit.

"How about the carnival?" Sara suggested. It was the perfect idea. All of us agreed and went to the carnival. The lights on the ferris wheel changed colors and made the place bright. It started to get chilly out, in the cold summer night.

"Here wear this." Cameron said handing me his hoodie. I put it on, it was extremely big and warm. We all walked around together then I felt Cameron slide his hand down my arm slowly and finally hold my hand. 

"I don't want this night to end." I said to Cameron. He smiled at me. I guess he didn't want it to either. The boys played a bunch of carnival games and won us a bunch of huge stuffed animals. Then we went on the ferris wheel. Sara, Nash, Courtney, and Taylor went and sat together. Cameron and I got to sit alone. He sits extremely close to me, and I nervously look at the beautiful scenery and gaze at the stars.

"It's a beautiful night, I wish I could look at stars like these back at home." Cameron said. I agreed, then the ferris wheel stopped moving and we got stuck at the top. 

"I think the ferris wheel broke." I said horrified. The seats were shaking and I was getting scared. Cameron wrapped his arms around me.

"You'll be fine I promise, I'm right here." He said and hugged me. Then he slowly backs up and stares into my eyes which feels like eternity. He slowly leans in to kiss me. I can't believe this is finally happening. He kisses me passionatley. I never wanted to stop, it felt like fireworks. After we pulled away we finally got off. It was time for Sara, Courtney, and I to leave. I'll never see him again.

"So Danielle, what exactly happened while you were on the ferris wheel?" Sara asked as we walked to the car.

"We kissed, but it's not like I'm going to see him again, I feel like it's a lost cause to date him." I said. I can't believe this night, it's been absolutely perfect, now it's time to get back into reality. 

"What about you two?" I asked. They both giggled at each other and finally, Courtney told me what happened.

"Well, Taylor kissed me too." Courtney said. I'm so happy that its been working out tonight, but then again it's not like we are going to go out with them again.
