*ONE MONTH LATER*

Courtney's POV

Its been a month since the accident, since Taylor broke his arm, and since everything changed. School is starting next month, and its my senior year, finally. I got up out of bed, breaking from the embrace that Taylor had me in. I looked down at him sleeping so angelic, he looks to peaceful to wake up. I quickly grabbed a pen and paper to tell him where I was going.

*I went out with Danielle to go shopping for school. I'll be back soon. I love you!

Love always,

Courtney*

I quickly put my naturally straight hair into a pony tail. I grabbed my light destroyed jeans and slid them on in one swift motion. It wasn't as hot as usual today. I grabbed a plain blue v neck tshirt and my galaxy vans. I grabbed my phone and keys and went off to Danielle's. I ran up the brick steps and walked right into her house, since its like my other home. I ran to her room, and noticed she was still in bed, the blonde ombre that was in her hair was brighter. She was sleeping, and Cameron's arms wrapped around her so tightly. It's already twelve, how are they not awake yet. I walked over to her and tapped on her shoulder.

"Danielle wake up, we have to go shopping," I whispered. Her eyes shot open.

"Shopping?!" she questioned me in a raspy voice. I shook my head, and she slowly got out of bed, so that she didn't wake Cameron up. "Should I wake him up?" she whispered.

"No just write a note," I suggested. She quickly went over to her desk and wrote where we were going.

*Went out with Courtney to the mall. Didn't wanna wake you! I'll be home soon. I love you.

Love always and forever,

Danielle*

She quickly got changed into a floral kimono, with a matching pink croptop and black high waisted shorts and gladiators. She quickly put on her usual makeup and I french braided her hair.

"Did you lighten your hair?" I asked.

"Yeah, does it look bad?" she asked turning to face me.

"No I love it!" I admitted. We quickly ran to my car and arrived at the mall. We went to starbucks to get our favorite drinks and went into Forever 21 first. We tried on extremely ugly outfits to make each other laugh, and ones that were perfect for school. I love how our friendship is, we always tell each other everything no matter what.

"That outfit is so perfect Danielle! You have to wear it!" I exlcaimed. It was a pair of high waisted shorts and a cute crop top. Her typical outfits. I grabbed a bunch of jeans and muscle tees. We ran over to Journeys to buy a bunch of vans.

"Danielle, what are you gonna do if Austin's in your classes?" I asked. Her eyes got large when I mentioned his name.

"I honestly forgot all about him. I don't know Courtney," she admitted.

"How could you forget about him? You've been drooling over him since we were babies," I said through a laugh.

"I know, but he always had a girlfriend. I knew I wasn't good enough for him. He's the perfect kind of guy at school, smart and athletic," she said. The tone in her voice sounded a bit upsetting.

"Thats bullshit," I said rolling my eyes.

"What is?" she asked confused.

"That you think you're not good enough for him. If anything your too good for him," I told her.

"Courtney, he never paid attention to me, and still doesn't. Its as if he doesn't even know I exist. It hurts to watch someone you love be in love with someone else," she admitted.
