Brittney's POV
Matt's been on his phone so much lately, its getting to the point where I feel like I should strap it to my face for him to look at me. What's so important that he needs to be on the phone 24/7 and spending more time with me.
"Babe, I'll be right back, I'm going to the bathroom," he said and walked away. He left his phone on the counter.
"Now what's more important then spending time with me?" I said to myself. I grabbed his phone and searched through it, then I noticed that he had a bunch of messages on his phone from one person. Nash. I looked around to make sure he left the room, and clicked on the messages. There was one message that shocked me. That made my mouth drop, and anger rage through out my body.
*Thanks again man for helping me out with Danielle.* I read the message over and over again, it was an old message, but its the most shocking one I've read. That's how Nash knew where ever Danielle was, Matt has been helping him this whole entire time. I heard footsteps coming closer to my bedroom, I quickly placed the phone down where it was, and laid back on to my bed.
"You look beautiful," he said smiling and sliding on to my bed right next to me. I can't believe he's been helping Nash get to Danielle.
"Thanks," I said rolling my eyes. He gave me a wierd look.
"What's wrong?" he asked. I don't know if I should tell him, because then he'll know that I was on his phone. So I thought about my choice of words. I should get him to tell me what's been going on, even though I already know.
"Have you talked to Nash lately?" I asked as I put my chin in the palm of my hand. His big brown eyes stared into mine, as he thought about what to say. He was shocked that I'd ask something like this.
"Why?" he asked concerned.
"I was just wondering," I said brushing my hair off of my shoulder.
"Umm, not lately," he said through a stutter. He's lying straight to my face. I heard his phone ring, I quickly looked down at the phone, and Nash's name popped up.
"Wow," I said with an attitude. I'm honestly shocked that he would lie to me.
"Brittney its not what it looks like, just let me explain," he said the tone of guilt in his voice was obvious.
"And here more lies? I don't have time for lies Matt," I said rolling my eyes.
"Brittney, I promise I will tell you the truth. Please let me explain," he said. His hand reached over to mine, he gently rubbed the my hand and intertwined our fingers.
"Alright, but if I find out you're li-" I tried to get out but he cut me off.
"I'm not, just hear me out," he said calmly. The guilt in his voice disappeared, and I listened as he tried to explain himself.
"At first, he would ask me where we went for the day, and I thought that was normal. Then he started asking about Danielle, and if we were with her and Cameron. I thought that it was a little strange, but I would tell him where she was, and if they were fighting or if they were happy. Once I found out what he's been doing to her, I stopped. Brittney, I never knew about what he was doing. Now he's upset because Sara left, and I stopped talking to him after that. Now he keeps blowing up my phone. I was going to tell you," He admitted. The words flew out from his mouth, like he's been holding them in for too long.
"But you didn't tell me, I had to find out on my own. You helped him steal Danielle. What if he tries to kill her? I just don't know what to believe," I said. Tears fell from my eyes, I can't believe he helped him.
"What do you mean you found out for yourself? You went through my phone?" his voice started to get louder, as he continued to talk.
"Well, you haven't been paying to much attention to me," I admitted, I couldn't look at him. He helped the monster get what he wanted. Now he's trying to turn the situation on me?
"Brittney, I'm so sorry about all of this. Can we forget about it? Please, I love you baby," he begged. I don't know if I should believe him.
"I'm scared that if I believe you, that something might happen to her. I can't have anything happen to her Matt," I said through tears. They continued to pour down my face. Matt started to wipe them away, but they just continued to fall.
"I don't expect to be forgiven, all I'm asking is for a second chance," he said. His beautiful eyes started to water, as his fingers gentley rubbed my hand.
"Matt, please promise me you'll never do something like this again. My friends mean everything to me. I can't lose them," I said.
"Brittney, I promise you that something like this will never happen again, ever," he said quickly. His voice softened.
"Alright, but I don't think I can forgive you. Not yet atleast," I said. The river of tears finally stopped.
"Thank you so much babe. I understand if you can't forgive me," he said happily. I took a deep breath, I really hope he won't make me regret this.
Courtney's POV
We're late for Taylor's surgery. When we arrived, we were about twentty minutes late. It was worth it though. Its only a minor surgery, but he'll be in a cast for weeks.
"Everything will be fine, its only a minor surgery," Taylor said smoothly. I grabbed on to his hand tightly, squeezing all of my nerves out.
"Okay, I love you babe," I said as I rose on to my tippy toes to lay a kiss upon his beautiful lips. I pulled away, so that I would leave him wanting more.
"Come here," he said as he motioned his hand for me to come, I got closer to him. He leaned down to kiss me again, I felt his tongue slowly enter my mouth, and his teeth lightly grazed over my bottom lip.
"Taylor Caniff, we're ready for you," the nurse said, her monatone voice cut through my ears. He pulled away, and I watched him walk away. He turned to look at me and a beautiful small smile came across his face. Everything will be okay
