*TWO DAYS LATER*

Its been two days since Danielle saw me last. The last time, our lips intertwined, or waking up next to her. The last time I saw her big brown eyes, and the last time I heard her beautiful voice. I haven't eaten much, and I haven't slept much. I just do it, because she might wake up. I've been visiting her until the visiting hours end, and when they start. I just sit there and wait. Wait for the moment that her eyes open. Courtney was sitting on the other side of her holding her other hand. I heard the bed move, I quickly turned my head to face her. Finally I saw those brown eyes. She looked tired. I looked at her, and she gave me a confused look.

"Who are you?" she asked looking directly at me. I felt like my heart dropped to my stomach, she has no memory of me entering her life. Or falling in love with me.

"I'm Cameron, you're boyfriend," I said. My hands were shaking, and she pulled away from my hand. She gave me a weird look and looked over at Courtney.

"Hello," she said through a smile. She completely ignored me.

"Hi, I'm so happy you're awake," Courtney said and gave her a hug. I stood up, and watched as my girlfriend hugged her best friend, and not even acknowledge me.

"Courtney, is this really my boyfriend?" she asked confused as she pointed toward me.

"Yes Danielle, you've been together for a while," she said trying to refresh her memory. I might have to have her fall in love with me all over again.

"How are you feeling?" I asked as I walked toward her. I held my hands together, I feel like I was hit right in the gut. Honestly, I'd rather get hit then this happening.

"My head hurts," she said has she held on to her head. She looked down at her hair.

"What happened to my brown hair?" she asked looking down at it. Only the ends were blonde, then she looked down at the promise ring I got her. "Am I married?"

Courtney and I looked at each other and laughed.

"No Danielle, Cameron bought the promise ring for you. Ombre is in style right now, and you decided to have it before the accident," Courtney said through a small laugh.

"What accident?" she asked confused.

"The one we had two days ago. We were driving to dance and a car hit us on your side. You slipped through the seat belt and crashed through the wind shield," Courtney stuttered. I could tell that the memory of it still bothered her. I'm scared that Danielle won't be the same. I can tell that she looks at me differently now. As if I'm some stranger that decided to walk into her life and take her away. She'll never love me the way I love her. She looked over at me, and the sparkle in her eyes that she had vanished. The smile on her face that appeared when ever I was around disappeared. She has no idea who I am.

"What's the last thing you remember?" I asked sitting down in a chair close to the bed.

"Well, the last thing I remember is being with Courtney and Sara. We were talking about our summer plans since school was almost ending," she said simply. The doctor walked in swiftly and stood at the foot of the bed.

"Doctor, why can't she remember me?" I asked, I felt my voice crack, just like my heart did.

"It was from the impact of her head hitting the wind shield. She will never fully remember you, it would be impossible to have her memory come back," the doctor said coldly looking directly at me.

"Well you don't know her like I do, and I know that she will remember me sooner or later," I snapped. The words just fell out of my mouth. One tear fell down my cheek as I looked back at her, the doctor walked out. Then I heard more footsteps coming towards the room.

"Really Cameron? How the hell are you gonna do that?" The voice sounded familiar, I turned my head to face him. My emotions changed from sadness to anger. I looked over at Danielle, and her eyes lit up, at this blue eyed, lanky, selfish bastard.
