The Surprise

"Ugh, I'm so tired." I moaned laying my head on Cameron's shoulder. He put his arm around me and I nuzzled my head into his chest and fell asleep. I woke up to him leaving, I didn't want this night to end.

"When can I see you again?" I asked him, he looked at me and kissed me one last time before replying.

"How about on Wednesday? We can go to a basketball game!" He said enthisatically. Courtney, Sara, Nash, and Taylor were going to come too. I waved goodbye as we drove back to Sara's house.

"Okay, we have practice later tomorrow, so we can totally go shopping again in the morning." Sara said. We all needed to look our absolute best, you never know if they might surprise us. After arriving at Sara's house, I called my mom to tell her how everything was.

"Danielle, he seems like a nice boy, we need to meet him." my mom said happily. At least one of my parents were mature about this.

"Okay, but mom please make sure dad's on his best behavior, I really like Cameron and I don't want him to leave me for something stupid. He turned on the sprinklers a few nights ago because I was ten minutes past curfew." I said annoyed. My dad was a very protective parent, he was only this way towards me and my sister, Jenna, I understand that he doesn't want us to get hurt, but he shouldn't sabotage my date!

"I'll try, but you never know with your father." my mom said laughing. She was right, you never know what to expect or what he'll say. I tried to not think about it and hang out with my best friends.

"Tomorrow we should go get manicures and pedicures too!" I suggested, Courtney and Sara both agreed to this and we just chilled out for the rest of the night. I'm so happy I have them as my best friends, I wouldn't trade them for anything, they're the best and I could never replace them. When I'm around them I know I can be myself without having to worry about them judging me.

"Ew, that stranger guy needs to leave like he's so annoying." Courtney said annoyed. He wouldn't leave us alone, it's like he was following us.

"Well, he's not here now so we don't need to worry about it." I said relieved. We just need to focus on the boys and our dances. Cameron texted me the details for Wednesdays game, and how we are going to get dinner after with Nash, Taylor, Courtney, and Sara. Courtney, Sara, and I have two days until our date so we decided to buy more clothes, makeup, and of course get our nails done.

*THE NEXT DAY*

We went to get our nails done, before we went shopping. We all got a French manicure and pedicure, so that it was okay to leave on for dance. Cameron texted me and said, that we need to look a little more fancy then usual. I wonder why.

"Hey guys, Cameron said we need to dress fancy. I wonder why." I said excited. Why would we need to be dressed fancy for a game?

"Okay, we need to buy the perfect dress then!" Sara squeeled. We were even more excited now. We went straight to Forever 21, since that's all of our favorite stores. I found a tight red dress with cut outs and a pair of nude pumps. Sara found a pink peplum dress with a pair of white heels, and Courtney found the perfect high to low teal dress with a pair of nude wedges. We went back to Sephora to buy more makeup and get ready for tomorrow.

"Guys I'm super excited, but before we leave I wanna get a new bikini." I said the them, we ran back to Forever 21 and bought new bikinis. They were super adorable and I got matching sunglasses. We were finally ready to leave and we decided to lay out by Sara's pool and work on our tans again. Jamming out to our favorite songs, when  It Girl by Jason Derulo started playing.

"What if they sang this to us." I said. We all started squealing and jumped into the pool. It started to get dark out and we ran inside to get ready for dance.
