*ONE MONTH LATER*
It's the night before the first day of school, Cameron and I decided to just move in together at his house. Everyone around town is starting to find out that I'm pregnant. I get dirty looks, but that's about it.
"I don't wanna go tomorrow," I whined to Cameron leaning my head on his shoulder.
"I know you don't babe, but you have to. Its your senior year, and I want you to be able to get into a good college," he answered. He kissed my forehead, and I heard my phone go off.
*Remember to pick me up girly!* I read the message Courtney sent me. I laughed and replied to her.
*I won't forget! I'll pick you up earlier so that we can go get some breakfast and coffee.* I sent the message and went to lay down in bed. I'm nervous for school, I'm nervous about what people will think of me. I'm just the average sterotype in school. I have a lot of other friends, but I only have one best friend, Courtney of course. I went to the closet to look at what I should wear.
"Babe, when we move out of here after I graduate, can I have a huge closet?" I asked through a laugh. The closet was cluttered with clothes, they were thrown on to the floor since there wasn't enough room for them to be hung up.
"You can have what ever you want princess," he said through a smile. I walked over to him and sat on his lap.
"I love it when you call me princess," I whispered and kissed his cheek.
"Well, I love you," he whispered back to me. I couldn't help but smile. I felt his soft hand gently touch my stomach.
"And I love them too," he said and finally kissed me. He gently stroked his fingers back and forth on my stomach. When I look in the mirror at myself, it just looks like I've gained a little weight, but that won't be for long.
"Me too," I admitted. I do, even though we have to adapt our lives to this little baby, I know it will be worth it.
I went back over to the closet to grab the outfit I'm going to wear tomorrow. Which was just a floral kimono, a bright blue croptop, light high waisted shorts, and knee high gladiators. I walked over to Cameron's dresser and mirror, (which was now my makeup vanity) and laid out my makeup and hair tools for tomorrow.
"You're such a perfectionist, I love it," he said through a laugh and patted the sheets next to him, calling me over to come to bed.
"I just like to have everything organized," I replied, I felt a smile come on my face as I walked over to his bed. I laid down, and as soon as my head hit the pillow, sleep overcame me.
I woke up entangled in Cameron's arms, it was already six. I quickly stood up from the bed. I fell over from how dizzy I got. I quickly stood up and looked at myself in the mirror. The makeup I didn't take off from last night was smeared all over my face. My hair was a complete mess, and I have not even an hour to get ready. I quickly turned on my curling iron and quickly did my makeup. I looked back over at Cameron sleeping, he looked so pleasant and happy. I just wanted to crawl back into bed with him and stay there forever, but I can't. I quickly curled my hair and checked the time. I have five minutes until I have to pick up Courtney. I quickly got dressed and kissed Cameron's forehead lightly so that he wouldn't wake up. I ran out to my car and picked her up.
"I love your outfit!" She exclaimed as soon she got into the car.
"Same here! I'm obsessed with your vans!" I yelled back with enthiusasm. Who knew we would be so energetic so early in the morning? She decided to wear her favorite pair of ripped up shorts, a black croptop, and she wrapped a teal flannel around her waist. She straigtened her hair and put a teal bandana on with her matching teal vans.
"Alright do you want Starbucks?" I asked as I started to back out of the driveway. She shook her head and I drove to Starbucks to get some capuccinos and some cookies for breakfast. I heard my phone go off as soon as we got back into the car.
*Have fun at school. I love you babe, I'll be waiting for you to get home! Xoxo.* A smile crawled on to my face as soon as I read the message, he's so precious.
*I'll try! See you back at home, I love you!Xoxo* I sent back and we went on our way to school. Our first day of our senior year.
"Can you believe we're seniors?" Courtney asked through a laugh. Time has been going by so quickly, I feel like yesterday was my first day of freshman year.
"Yeah its crazy! But remember as soon as we get out of here and get enough money, we have to go shopping in Paris!" I exclaimed. She laughed as soon as I mentioned our future plans.
"Duh! And you can't forget dinner in Rome!" she exclaimed back. I can't wait to do all what we've been planning for. Courtney also had another idea to do as soon as we graduate. We are going to go to the airport with enough money for tickets, and take the first plane that is open to wherever. It sounds so much fun, and I can't wait to be able to do that.
"Never!" I yelled back with so much enthsiuasm. We got out of my car and went straight to homeroom. So far, no one has said anything to me about being pregnant. The bell rang and Courtney met me outside.
"When's your lunch?" I asked as we stared down at our schedules.
"6th period, what about you?" she asked.
"Same here!" I exclaimed. I looked at her schedule, we have the same exact classes except for first period. I decided to take a class involving crime investigation, and she had art.
"I'll see you next period!" she said and waved goodbye. I walked into the class, and looked at all the familiar faces that I haven't seen for about three months. Then I saw the one person I wasn't expecting to see. He looked different, his brown hair was shorter, he looked more muscular, and tanner then he used to be. I saw his eyes dart over to me as I walked over to an empty desk. When he looked at me, his eyes widened, and his lips were parted. He looked as if he was going to say something but couldn't find the right words to say. Then I noticed is girlfriend, Brielle all over him. Austin's changed over the past three months. He's the popular football player, who has the perfect cheerleader girlfriend. The typical relationship that will last until college. I was just a nerd, even if he would talk to me it was just to copy answers off of me. I sat down and hid my face, there was no one else in the class that I would really talk to. I looked back over at them, Brielle turned around, her thick brown hair flipped over her shoulder and looked directly at me. I watched as her eyes darted right at me, giving me the dirtiest look I could ever imagine. I just wanted to get up and wipe it off of her, but I didn't I just sat there in silence. I could tell the class was going to be extremely easy. A minute before the late bell rang, I watched Brielle walk out of the classroom, I guess she wasn't in this class. The rest of period I was is a daze, I watched clock and waited for the dismissal bell to ring. The bell finally rang, but I had all my papers clutter on to my desk, when some random girl walked by she pushed off all of my papers. The bell rang and I bent down to pick them up, and I noticed a shadow walking towards me. I looked up into his big brown eyes as he stared at me, wide eyed. He helped me pick up my papers and handed them to me. I stood up quickly and smiled at him, thanking him without even speaking.
"You can talk to me you know, I won't bite," he said through a small laugh. I could easily tell in his voice that he was nervous. His hands shook as he handed me the papers.
"Thanks," I said quickly and started to walk out of the room.
"Wait, what's your next class?" he asked intrigued.
"Physics," I answered. I'm a science and math nerd, what is the most popular boy in school talking to me for? "Look, if your trying to ask me to do your homework for the year, I'm not going to do it. I have my own stuff to deal with,"
"When did I say anything about you doing my work? I just wanted to talk to you," he said innocently, he followed me into the next class. Brielle was no where to be found.
"Why do you want to talk to me?" I spat out.
"Because you're the only one that hasn't tried to talk to me or use me to be popular. You're smart and you seem cool. I just want to be friends," he admitted.
"Okay," I said through a smile. Since when did I smart smiling? He smiled back at me, then all of those old feelings hit me, and they hit me hard. I've waited over ten years for him to finally notice me, and now that day finally came.
